OMG! @Alyssa_Milano to Appear on @FoxAndFriends; Liberals Go Nuts

Longtime readers know the story: In 2009, after Alyssa Milano re-Tweeted a column by Mickey Kaus, I determined to get mine, too:

Some of my friends say that Alyssa is a dyed-in-the-wool liberal. . . . Surely, however, she would not allow mere politics to prejudice her Twitter habits.

It took 11 months (and the constant incitement of friends), but finally in September 2010, came the Tweet Heard ‘Round the World:


See? Politics isn’t everything. And yet this morning, when it was announced Alyssa Milano was scheduled to appear on “Fox & Friends,” some of her liberal fans were less than . . . bipartisan:

Why do people have to be like that? I’m glad conservatives aren’t intolerant like that. Yes, Alyssa Milano is a liberal, but she’s just a regular liberal, not a shrill Bill Maher/Janeane Garofalo obnoxious partisan Hollywood hatemonger. She’s not Sean Penn or Michael Moore or some other America-hating commie.

And did I mention she RT’d me? With 2.5 million followers?

Also, she’s better-looking than Michael Moore. A uniter, not a divider.

This is amusing in several ways. I’m kind of notorious as the conservative guy who Watches MSNBC, So You Don’t Have To™  and lately, MSNBC has been the pro-war channel — “We must bomb Syria! Now!” — and these Fox-haters were all anti-war back when it was important for liberals to hate war. Principles? Standards? They got none.

  3. Prognazi herds live only in the moment. There is no past, because the concept of past is defined as that which justifies the Prognazi’s present. There is no future because no matter what happens, it is what DOESN’T happen that skewers the Prognazi with hate – what doesn’t happen is always those [insert vilest of epithets] who keep the reward from the Prognazi.
    Fox News? An instrument of evil built on the treacherous Bernard Goldberg’s book “Bias.” MSNBC? it is the smorgasbord of hate built on the Prognazi’s self-recognition that they are in rebellion against God.

  5. These Nuts. Alyssa was on the show a few years ago as well. Plus, several celebs come on the show and on Fox News. Sarah Michelle Gellar was on in July. Ellen Pompeo was on last year. And others have been on like Michael Bolton. Sadly, I now realize I quit watching this morning’s show before Alyssa was on.

  6. I do not know about the others but Sarah Michelle Prinze and her husband have been know to support conservatives causes.

  15. I like Alyssa too much to follow any such link. When I said “early adult movies” I meant R-rated movies she made as a young adult.

  17. Hey, Evi, thanks for the heads up but I suggest that Alyssa doesn’t quit her day job… that video was a few minutes too long both in the set up and the pay off. I like the young lady but I have not been a big fan of her work since Commando The Director’s Cut which I, of course. own on DVD.

    Any who, her tweeting Stacy put her up there with Mother Teresa in my book.
