Lesbian Teacher Could Face Life Sentence for Molesting Two Girls in California

Andrea Michelle Cardosa, 40, was arrested Monday in Riverside County, California, and charged with 16 felony counts after two former students accused her of sexually molesting them. One of the victims, Jamie Carrillo, made headlines last month when she posted a YouTube video of a phone conversation in which she confronted the teacher she said began having sex with her when she was only 12:

Carrillo, now 28, titled the video “A call to my childhood rapist teacher.”
“I was only 12 years old when I met you. Do you realize that you brainwashed me and you manipulated me and that what you did was wrong?” Carrillo said in the video.
“Yes. And I regret it. I only — I just wanted to help you,” Cardosa responded.
“How is having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old student helping?” Carrillo said.

Prosecutors say Cardosa’s molestation of Carrillo “took place between 1997 and 2001, when the victim was in middle school and high school.” After Carillo went public with her accusations, a second victim, now 18, came forward to say she “was allegedly abused [by Cardosa] while she was in high school in Perris in 2009 or 2010.” For some reason, news accounts about this case don’t describe Cardosa as a lesbian.

“You ruined my life. You ruined my childhood. Do you realize that?”

    This should be a national story. When Jamie Carrillo came forward, it encouraged the second victim to report the abusers. How many more abusive teachers could be caught if this was on 20/20?

    But, since the perp is a lesbian, I doubt it’ll get too much coverage. Well, maybe they’ll give the perp a softball interview and lie for her, like they did for a certain adult abuser from Florida?

    Here’s one question: how much did thinking that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality influence her attitudes and behaviors to sexually abuse girls?

    Don’t you think parents have a right to know if the adults in contact with their children have a homosexuality or bisexuality problem? Don’t parents have a right to know if the adults in contact with their children think homosexuality is normal?

    Don’t children have a right to be taught ***in schools*** that they are at risk of being sexually abused by their teachers, including the ones who think homosexuality is normal and those who have a homosexuality problem?

    LGBT – the people with a history… of molestation, abuse, sexual harassment, disease spreading, and plenty of other types of violence…

    Lastly, let us not forget the case of Eunice and Owen Johns in the UK, who after a lifetime experience of being loving parents to their own children and to numerous foster children, were denied the right to be foster parents in the UK because they don’t endorse the harmful view that homosexuality is normal.

    Yet society gave this liberal teacher with a homosexual problem plenty of children to abuse.

    Sex offenders — male or female, gay or straight — are always able to rationalize their actions. This is not new or unusual. However, a key element of such rationalizations is usually that the victims are willing participants: “It was consensual!”

    It may be that pro-gay propaganda in the culture has made more young people willing to participate in gay sex, so that the rationalizations of the adult offenders are now easier in such cases.

    I hesitate to make such generalizations in the absence of data, but from a common-sense perspective you have to figure that significant changes in cultural beliefs about sex would make some difference in the the frequency and nature of sex offenses.

    Homosexuality does not equal pedophilia, any more than deer hunting equals school shooting sprees. These are different behaviors, one does not indicate the other. Just because you don’t approve of lesbians or pedophiles doesn’t mean they are one and the same. Just as not every straight man is a rapist, or every Republican racist.

    That doesn’t mean that there aren’t child molesters using homosexuality as an excuse.

    I’ll stand with you against sex with kids. But until and unless you can show that every homosexual (or even most homosexuals) target kids, I’ll tell you that lumping all gays in with the child molesters is wrong.

    I’d really like to know where you got that figure.

    Now maybe I’m out of line, but it reminds me of all the junk written in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries about how black men raped white women at the drop of a hat. Unless the white women were properly protected, of course.

    Woodrow Wilson’s favorite film was about that very subject. It doesn’t mean the attitudes and assumptions were right though.

    Oh, we’ll find that she really wasn’t a lesbian, but had relationships with adult men.

    However, despite the attempts of the media to whitewash the relationship between homosexuality and child sexual abuse, the public are smarter than the media give them credit for: people reading the story will realize that the abuse was homosexual in nature.

    It’s true enough that homosexuality does not equal pedophilia, any more than heterosexuality does, but the very uncomfortable fact is that child sexual abuse is homosexual rather than heterosexual in nature at far greater rates than the percentage of homosexuals in the population.

    Men like Jeffrey Skilling and Berne Madoff are crucified in the media and pull real prison time. Women who molest seldom do more than a year. If it were up to me the U.S. would out source its prison industry to third world nations that could use the income. Countries like Somalia and Haiti could house our felons at a fraction of the cost. Jobs would be created in this country too. Norfolk would be busy building prison ships. Prison ship, has a great ring to it? Who knows, Vietnam might reopen the Hanoi Hilton.

    She made it up. Anyone with a pair of eyes knows that over 90% of the cases between teacher/student are committed by heterosexual men and women. She’s a rabid homophobe who looks for anyway possible to smear gays, even going so far as to claim homosexuals are completely responsible for the Nazi holocaust because you had some gay Nazis. nevermind though that Nazi policy was anti-gay, gays were persecuted just like any other person the Reich found undesirable, and Himmler was quoted in speeches saying they need to exterminate them.

    There are really only four choices: people are either sexually attracted to the opposite sex, to the same sex, to both sexes, or are not sexually attracted to anybody. Pedophiles have to fall into one of those four categories.

    The John Jay Report concerning the sexual abuse problem in the Catholic priesthood found that 81% of the victims were male, and 78% (of the total, not of the 81%) were post-pubescent. The priests were not really pedophiles, but hebephiles (attracted to 11 to 14 year olds, and ephebophiles (attracted to 15-17 years olds), and they were going after post-pubescent boys, primarily, not girls.

    In our climate of never wanting to blame homosexuality, many tried calling the disparity a crime of access, but I’ve been Catholic all my life, and I can tell you, there are more girls available in those age ranges than boys. Non-Catholics think of Altar Boys, but the fact is that we’ve had Altar Girls for a long time now (called Altar Servers generically), and for the priests to have targeted male Altar Servers so heavily cannot have been just random, because there are more girls serving than boys.

    Meanwhile these cases are becoming so common that you almost become numb (almost) to them. Our society is become a circus of degeneracy.
