This Will Not End Well for the Donald

Posted on | March 22, 2013 | 44 Comments

So, the Vulgar King of Obnoxiousness decided to throw down on Twitter with Michelle Malkin, and perhaps this reminder is unnecessary:

Trump has a rather long history of hostility toward conservatives like Malkin, a New York Times bestselling author and New Media entrepreneur who created the popular Hot Air political blog as well as the innovative Twitter aggregation site Twitchy, as well as her own highly trafficked site, MichelleMalkin.com. It is highly unlikely that she will back down in her battle with Trump.

Trump is a bully who is used to pushing people around and, unfortunately, some Republicans have been willing to enable his bullying. Quite frankly, he’s one of those celebrity characters — like Geraldo “El Spitto” Rivera — whom Fox News executives tolerate because they’re good for ratings. Also (and I think I’m not the only one who sees this) there’s a kind of old-boys attitude with Bill O’Reilly in particular: Geraldo and Trump are “one of the guys,” and so the brass at Fox are apt to indulge their hateful attitudes toward Malkin. But don’t for a minute think that Malkin is  going to put up with Trump’s bullying.

Trump is a cartoon character. Besides, anyone who would wear hair like that has judgement that is seriously impaired.

Donald Trump seems to have this delusion that he’s actually Howard Stern. The problem with that is that he’s not interesting to listen to at all.

Anyone who knows anything about Malkin knows that she won’t put up with Trump’s bullying. Trump is addicted to publicity. He has to be in the news in one way or another. Why in the heck was someone like him invited to CPAC?

If she was mad at me, I’d hire extra security and if ever we were in the same room, I’d want to know where she was at every moment.

    She’s FEISTY.

I’ve always wondered about Combover Guys. Do they think we don’t know it’s a combover?

Do they think it’s fooling anyone for one moment?

Why does it matter so much to them?

He’s rich enough to buy the very best in hair appliances and treatments.

Why does he persist in this “Costume”?

It makes him look like a clown. Oh wait . . HE IS!!!

I’d say this is mostly an invocation of Rule 4.

Having wrote that, I’ll point out that Ronald Reagan’s famous quote about, “The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally — not a 20 percent traitor,” does not apply when those 20-percent disagreements are things that are batshit crazy.

This is why Ron Paul types are bad for both Libertarianism and Conservatism. You can not trust a man who will stab you in the back in your own foxhole.

(I’d not mention Hot Air as one of Michelle’s accomplishments anymore. It was great until she left. Now it’s about as alike to Michelle’s own website as Huffpo is to TheOtherMcCain. I mean, people don’t make a big deal about Andrew Bretibart being one of the founders of Huffpo, do they? No they don’t.)

I’m being totally serious when I say that I don’t trust the judgement of anyone who would wear a hair hat, combover, plugs, etc. As if people are going to point in horror and say, “OMG!! Look at that bald guy!”, like it’s a deformity. Someone who is so vain that they would make themselves look like a fool is not someone whose opinion I give much weight.

My friend, John LaRosa coined the hashtag, #BaldIsBeautiful… and it is, not just aesthetically, but because bald men are generally more confident, rather than vain.

I say if The Donald wants to throw down with Michelle Malkin, I have the perfect venue.

I do not know how many of you are wrestling fans, but this year WrestleMania 29 (which is the WWE’s version of The Super Bowl) is taking place in the New York-New Jersey area on April 7, with The Donald going into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 6 at Madison Square Garden. I say why not have The Donald and WWE Diva Tamina Snuka (daughter of WWE Legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka) go up against Michelle Malkin and Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania?

I call Hot Air Hot Gas these days. That’s about what the place is worth. Morrissey Shaw, and AP think they are conservatives. I guess if they are in the company of people like O’ Reilly and Trump they might seem as though they are, but they are leftist as they come these days. Why Malkin ever brought Morrissey on is beyond me. I never saw anything on “Captain’s Quarters” to recommend him. AP and Shaw are pretty well useless individuals. The place is pretty much worthless these days.

I can understand trying to replace ones hair. It does make an improvement in your looks. (some can carry off the bald look and others can’t.)

Doing so may or may not be vanity but the ONLY purpose of a combover is to LIE to yourself and attempt to convince others that you AREN’T GOING BALD!

That’s all it is. Nothing more or less. It’s a denial of reality and it looks really, really bad.

Now I’m not talking about guys who trim their hair a little longish and sweep it around the sparser areas. I’m talking about the guy who grows the hair on one side of his head 12″ (or longer) of hair and then plasters that across the skin.

    IT. DOESN’T. LOOK. RIGHT.

    It’s obvious what they’re doing.

Michelle Malkin has a long history of attacking other conservatives in a really spiteful way. An no, I’m not calling Donald Trump a conservative. He’s an ex-liberal and until small minded conservatives like Malkin stop eating their own with such gusto they will never be anything more than “right wing fringe”. Heck, Malkin isn’t taken seriously by anybody.
Michelle Malkin has done more to damage the conservative cause than any other single person in the last 50 years. How? She infected the blogoshere with Beta Male Dickless Wonders Ed Morrissey and Alluhpundit. Those spineless weasels influence other spineless weasels like Ace and his crew, the NRO boys, and the Powerline guys. Malkin won’t defend Robert Spencer or Pamela Gellar and goes out of her way to attack Ann Coulter with the most catty, petty, female crap there is.
If only you conservatives spent half the energy attacking liberal progressives as you do attacking each other this country might stand a chance. Yeah, right. “Courteous and respectful” only applies to liberals. Get as mean and nasty as you want with someone who’s on your side.
Oh, and one more thing. Twitchy has been attacking Donald Trump for MONTHS. He finally slings it back and they can’t take it. Whiners.

I presume you are aware of the irony iregarding your long-standing complaint about people on the right refusing to fight, and then defaming someone on the right who fights.

We are in a civil war on the right. So yeah, there will be more of this until the Cotton Conservatives and Rockerfeller Republicans are soundly defeated. I don’t care how much of a smackdown it takes, either.

Do any conservatives actually read HotAir? I know they get numbers, and people suck up to them for traffic, but most Conservatives think of Hot Air as an off-Broadway variant of Huffpo.

Fight the OTHER SIDE!!!!! Not one of your own!

For crying out loud, this isn’t brain surgery! Yeah I get it that Donald Trump isn’t a true conservative. But he hates Obama, he tells it like it is, he’s likeable, and Michelle Malkin goes out of her way to attack him? What the hell is wrong with her? Twitchy has been attacking Trump for months. OK, she obviously needs the web hits. Fine. People who beg for money on the internet need page views. I get that. But there is so much to attack on the other side.
Ann Coulter. Dick Morris. Donald Trump. It makes me sick the way so-called conservatives attack people who may be flawed but mean well. While they refuse to defend people like Pamela Gellar and Robert Spencer and Daniel Pipes and David Horowitz.
It’s useless. This country is doomed. There’s no hope.

No, it is definitely not brain surgery.

Look, as long as we have people telling us Huckabee is planning another run, there will be smackdowns. And they will be as nasty and frequent as it takes to put an end to that insanity.

The reason it’s the Stupid Party is because too many clowns think it needs to be the same as the totalitarian party.
