A Rhetorical Question, We Presume

Posted on | March 13, 2010 | 19 Comments

“Isn’t It Time To Euthanize Reid’s Wife?”

Dan Riehl certainly knows how to provoke Alan Colmes to paroxysms of self-righteous indignation — a praiseworthy project in itself, quite apart from getting written up by the thought-police at Media Matters.

Speaking of euthanization, we earlier mentioned the March 16 Stop ObamaCare 2.0 event in D.C., which aims to put a merciful end to this legislative abomination. Michelle Malkin publishes a list of the key targets of the event.

UPDATE: “Dan’s a snarky bastard” — and I’m sure Tabitha Hale means that as a compliment. Just like Nancy Pelosi meant this as a compliment to unborn babies:

Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children’s health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those – one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.

Memeorandum captures further Riehl-induced commentary.

Hmm, very interesting thought. After all, will she not be an expensive drag on the rest of us?

Now that is what I call a Link information rich environment! I see Alan Colmes forgets a few facts in his article. I think the point is that Conservatives value life to it’s natural end and liberals think life is a measure of what good it can do. Folks wonder why conservatives are worried about Healthcare being in the hands of Liberals, it amounts to the value one places on life.

    Always a good read here.

I have one major issue with Dan Riehl’s callous and cold snark, re. Harry Reid’s wife-

Wish I’d have thought of it!

Riehl World View has been taking Arthur Koestler’s advise, as of late, producing the typical howling and shrieking from the Left. They do protest too much, methinks.

Colmes is a punk. If he wants to see disgusting comments he should go check out Palin’s facebook page. Every time she opens up the comment section, at least 500 people post about how they want to see her beaten and raped.

    Screw Colmes.

I enjoyed the comments on the Media Matters and Colmes sites. The commentators (as well as Comles and Media Matters) really are humor starved idiots. Almost to a person, they took Riehl’s comments as serious. It is pretty funny at how out of touch they are with basic humanity. But, they will tell you they are “reality based”, and they don;t even realize that is humor.
