Power Line Interviews Karl Rove

A great interview conducted by John over at Power Line. The interview is excellent, covers a broad range of topics, and leaves the audience wanting a copy of Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight.

What is KR up to?  Fox News, WSJ, columnist for Newsweek, speeches, and low-level strengthening of center-right institutions, and a book tour.  Appearance dates on the web site.  Just missed him in McLean, VA.  Ah, well, the interview was excellent, in any case.

I heard Karl on Huck and went to amazon and bought his book. I listened to the interview and am doubly glad I did. Thanks RSM

    Smitty,
My take on Rove is that he’s a phony from the word “Go!”. Karl was indispensable to every leftward move made by his Boss. No Child’s Left Behind, Federal Drugs for Fogies – and the tragic bullshit about “appealing to the middle” that allowed the Dems to run far Left-field, and damned near cost us two elections as Republican fortunes actually diminished – and that @ss is considered an “architect” of victory?

Rove’s ideology has been that of a statist-Progressive RINO who suckers the base with very conservative noises… guy must have done a lot of turkey hunting as a kid.

Watch – he’ll be peddling Romney soon. He will also be condescendingly, mildly supportive of Palin and genuine conservatives while pushing the notion that their lack of “experience” is unfortunate. Right – Bush Jr was one of the most “experienced” candidates Republicans had ever suffered. It damned near cost us the Constitution.

Sorry for the tone, man – my disgust for Rove was hard-earned over eight years of near contiguous disappointments.

Rove is a BIG part of the problem. He should be treated as the progressive he is. The guy is a disgrace.
