The thing is our gracious host knows Weigel personally, that is, as a person, and not just as another sneering liberal commisar. So he’s willing to cut him some slack, and truthfully that makes him a better person.
Conservatives didn’t cause Weigel to lose his job- who cared if he was biased? They’re all biased, and we all know it. Weigel lost his job because the MSM insists on hanging on to it’s long-dead identity as a neutral arbitor of political disputes. The Post doesn’t feel it can admit to having a position, a philosophy, or an agenda, call it what you will like a British paper, so they had to get rid of him.

Dan, Stacy is just standing up for a friend. Even if that friend is a jerk. Even though if the tables were turned, Weigel would not return the favor. Because Stacy is a stand up guy and we all agree Weigel is not.
