Tim Daniel Makes The Daily Caller Without JournoList Membership

Tim Daniel, a.k.a. the Left Coast Rebel, has a solid piece in The Daily Caller, rounding up some of the wretched excess that is plaguing a local government near you.

With no evidence of any kind, I sort of wonder how many of these outsized salary payments are, at least partially, going places that would trigger embarrassment and lawsuits if fully understood.

The Daniels solution: the cloning of Chris Christie. Such a feat is readily obtainable by promoting legitimate local leadership and holding it accountable. Consider the effort involved a cost of doing business. You thought liberty was free? The best you can get for next to nothing is low-cost enslavement.

Has Tim Daniel ever even been *near* Bell? I doubt whether he’s all that familiar with the various issues in the general area and I also doubt whether libertarian hobbyhorses are completely or even mostly to blame.

24Ahead – enlighten please as to what a ‘libertarian hobbyhorse’ is in your eyes?

Also, I take it as a compliment that you assume that I am a libertarian.

    24Ahead..

I have been to Bell and, as long as we’re on the subject(?) of non-sequiturs, there’s a great restaurant across the 710 from Bell on Firestone called The Guadalajara Plaza.

I don’t know if it’s owned and operated by Libertarians, but the food’s good.

Dude, Smitty. You’re on VACATION. Step away from the keyboard. Swim in the Pacific. Frolic with the missus. STOP POSTING. We really don’t matter, you know that.

No, “libertarian” is a strong pejorative, as is the possibly more accurate in your case “strong fiscal conservative”.

Get a map and put the names of the various cities in the area into searches at LAT and LAWeekly and you’ll find that the cities in that area have been having problems, scandals, and suspicions for years. The underlying cause isn’t strong fiscal conservative hobbyhorses but the loose borders policies of Bush and now Obama, aided and abetted by Dems, corrupt GOPers, and plenty of “strong fiscal conservatives”. If someone discusses problems in that area without mentioning loose borders, you know they’re PC, ignorant, or trying to fool you. In Daniel’s case I suspect it’s the middle one.

24Ahdead – The underlying cause isn’t necessarily strong border enforcement hobbyhorses (as the border has been porous and flooded with illegals for decades), it’s the strong fiscal hobbyhorse of the welfare state supporting the illegal immigration hobbyhorse.
