I’d Never Heard of Amber Heard …

. . . until this morning, when I got a Tweet from King Shamus telling me she will star in the film adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson’s novel, The Rum Diary, to be released later this year. Other actresses — including Scarlett Johansson — reportedly shied away from the chance to star opposite Johnny Depp because the part involves nudity.

Lots and lots of nudity.
