Snowed In!

STAUNTON, Virginia
My plan to make it back home tonight got changed by the snowstorm. After I got north of Lexington, driving conditions on I-81 deteriorated rapidly. I called my wife, who suggested I get off the road and check into a motel. The place by the interstate was full up, but the clerk offered to call around and see if she could find me a room elsewhere. Turns out I was in luck, and there was a vacancy in a place downtown . . .

Yes, it’s the historic Stonewall Jackson Hotel. Just a fluke, but I’m sure the Southern Poverty Law Center will find a way to portray this as part of a neo-Confederate conspiracy.
