Noel Sheppard calls Maher a “disgusting cretin,” and Donald Douglas at American Power remarks:

I don’t see Rachel Maddow, that great champion of the oppressed, putting up any objections. . . . Where’s the progressive outrage?

I’m sure the outraged progressives are too busy beating drums in their Occupy Wall Street protests to notice what Bill Maher says. And I’m sure Bill Maher is too busy beating something else to worry about anybody’s outrage.

  1. Yeah. Like what’s the liberal’s rule for calling someone a “chickenhawk”?  No military service and a desire to send troops into harm’s way? I think Obama and his followers would qualify here.

  5. @Bob Belvedere Patrick runs the site PoliticalByLine.  He has viciously attacked Stacy before and is a first-class, 100% USDA ARSEHOLE.

    Thanks for the heads up. I checked his blog out, and he does seem to have some kind of hangup about RSM though I’m not clear exactly why. It’s a shame, because otherwise his blog doesn’t seem too bad, what I saw of it. No signs of overt anti-semitism or even that he’s a Paultard. He even has Zilla on his blogroll.

  9. Preach. Maher’s a hack; a half-assed unfunny applause-liner with delusions of wit. He’s not fit to lick George Carlin’s ashes.

    And he knows it. So he fills the tiny need in the market for the faux-intellectual’s Margaret Cho, and he keeps the wolf from the door by sticking his fingers in the right’s eye as many times as he can.

    Stop feeding the troll.
