Blog Favorite Sean Bielat Rocking MA-4

Stacy forwarded this tidbit about Tea Party favorite Sean Bielat:

Another important milestone was reached on April 11th, when the campaign officially collected enough petition signatures to qualify Sean for the ballot. Sean personally submitted the signatures to the Elections Division at the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s offices in Boston yesterday, almost two months ahead of the deadline.

This blog has no idea if he’s 1/32nd Iroquois or not, but that wouldn’t matter anyway, because he’s 100% American!

Sean Bielat for Congress!

Is he still running in Barney Frank’s old district? I would love it if he could pull off a victory, but I think its very highly unlikely. I don’t know, but I have an idea that for any Republican to win that district, he’d have to make Mike Castle look like Allen West. He sure wouldn’t be the kind of Republican the Tea Party could love.

2010 was a dry run.  2012 is when he wins it all.

    Go Sean Go.

The last thing we need is another Kennedy in DC… Sean Bielat’s site even has an “Issues” page. Something that the young Alfred E. Neuman… er, uh I mean Joe Kennedy III can’t claim.

Well, the district was redrawn after the census, which is one reason Bawney wetired.  He had spent several years sucking up to fishing interests along the coast, but now the coastal areas are in another district.  He was going to have to meet a whole new set of actual citizens, and the prospect was just too disgusting for him to bear.

The opponent is one of the Kennedy kids, one who’s never even been arrested.  Who knows?

Would love to see Bielat win, but just qualifying for the ballot is hardly rocking the district.

Of course, I can understand why Stacy might see it as a big deal.

My understanding is that the newly drawn District is relatively more conservative – ‘relatively’ being the key word.

I think Mr. Bielat has a chance, but it sure would help (1) if the Kennedy people let their guy speak in public more often [he’s worse than his father, former rep. Joe, who was known as The Wizard Of Uh’s] and (2) if enough old people in the district die off between now and November [you know, the kind that still have a picture of JFK in their kitchen and always vote Democrat].

We have poll numbers showing a path to victory. This is absolutely a winnable race:
