More Facts on Benghazi Attack, More Bad News for President Gutsy Call

Obama and his surrogates have claimed that, in wrongly describing the attack as the result of a “spontaneous” protest about an obscure YouTube video, the president was simply relying on what the intelligence agencies said. OK, so now that lie is busted, too:

The CIA station chief in Libya reported to Washington within 24 hours of last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about an American-made video ridiculing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad, U.S. officials have told The Associated Press.

Drew M. at AOSHQ: “CIA to Obama: Hey Barry, you know what’s ‘not optimal’? Your sorry ass.”

Ambassador Stevens’ mother wasn’t pleased to hear her son’s death characterized as “not optimal.”

With the trouble he gets in with soft appearances like The Daily Show, Letterman, and Univision, no wonder Obama won’t submit to serious questioning.
