Dr. Carson Sees Whittle’s 19 Minutes, Raises Him 8

I enjoyed Bill Whittle’s speech immensely. Just a great outing in terms of rhetoric and editing.

On the other hand, with one camera angle and a live audience that includes #OcccupyResoluteDesk, Benjamin Carson delivers a truly inspirational outing:

Of particular interest is the body language from #OcccupyResoluteDesk. He is NOT laughing at the jokes, which are good, and does offer one of his patented near-gesture eye scratches at one point. He does NOT applaud when the rest of the audience does, offering the merest hint of a golf clap at the tail end of the speech.

As you hear Dr. Carson relate his biographical details, you get the impression that he is everything #OccupyResoluteDesk would be, were BHO not an abject fraud. Look at Obama alternate between an Olympian pose and a scowl through the speech. Truly, that body language offers a hilarious subtext to a speech that is already a fine bit of work.

Thank you Dr. Carson. May the Almighty bless you and your efforts. The question is why the good Doctor has not been dragged onto a ballot yet.

I listened to this yesterday and was amazed that he was able to do what Republicans can’t ever seem to do, and tell the truth right in front of our employee, Mr. Obama.

BTW, the letter sent to Rove’s new money-loser has really gotten the big eyeball from Jeffrey Lord over at AmSpec.

I hope no one sends Rove a dime.

I recently watched a movie about Dr. Ben Carson: “Gifted Hands, the Ben Carson Story”. I highly recommend it. He was raised by a mother who had a tremendous amount of faith in him and his brother and made them work very hard in school. He had to overcome many obstacles to become a neurosurgeon. He became famous for separating conjoined twins at their heads.

Dr. Carson hasn’t been dragged onto a ballot yet because if he ever was people would immediately start complaining that he “wasn’t a good politician.”

Dr. Carson’s address was refreshing, humorous and inspiring.
Most of all it was the truth delivered in a warm, folksy package. But it’s worth running through a second time just to watch the sour, uncomfortable grimace on the face of an arrogant, classless, wannabe tyrant as he’s being handed his lunch by a notable black American very much his intellectual superior.

Ben Carson is doing what the GOP NEVER DOES: Investing in the future, getting money, grants, opportunity and inspiration down to the street level. He’s buying votes, people, in the best way imaginable. He’s not broadcasting shallow seeds of political rhetoric, he’s hand-raising young trees and preparing them for a lifetime of deeply-rooted Conservatism.

The old lions of the GOP wait around for young people to grow up and have life mug them brutally. Well, that brutality is getting worse every year for young people and they’re no longer intellectually equipped to see the problem. That’s why “fiscal cliff” and foreign policy have no traction for their vote. And Obamacare? Young people live forever and never give a thought to their health until they need to.

Dr. Carson doesn’t form a rival PAC, he forms a generation.

I did see Michelle’s hands clapping vigorously on some good points. I wonder if they had a lively discussion afterwards, or if Obama was too busy texting Valerie and Holder with ideas of an executive outcome for Dr. Carson.

We may grimly push away the thoughts of Obama’s enemies disappearing as so much conspiracy theory. Or not.
