Two months into our celebration of a century of Woodrow Wilson, one question is whether the people have been flogged enough to understand that the Progressive Project is played out? I’d say not. Sane analysis would likely conclude that ObamaCare was too big, too stupid, too flawed. Yet, rather than maneuver around that seamount, we’re bearing down on it.

Looking past the inevitable disaster, though, I remain optimistic.

I have zero optimism. This admin will bear down full-speed ahead on that seamound, much like the Titanic on the ice-berg. No amount of alarm from the look-outs will deter their course as they have ear-plugs firmly in place, singing O’s praises loudly to drown out the cries of danger …

I’m sorry to say that my optimism ended when O was reelected. I still haven’t recovered from that. Maybe I need a few more months.

Many of the people will eventually accept flogging as a normal part of their lives and take it until they die. Some will rebel after their backs have been reduced to a bloody pulp. Some will join the floggers in an effort to avoid being flogged.

And a few, a happy few, like many of us will never accept the flogging. As a result, we shall be fighting until we die.

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain – that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Your reasoning seems profoundly flawed. The Constitution has not authorized the government we presently have, and the failure to prevent said government is ours alone.
