Long Overdue Brutal Honesty

Some helpful background:

James Lohr, who has the words “Hard” and “Luck” tattooed where his eyebrows would be, was taken into custody early Friday in Colorado Springs. He was wanted for questioning in the slaying of Department of Corrections Director Tom Clements. . . .
Lohr has been wanted in Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado. He was arrested for violating a protection order in Trinidad on Dec. 1, 2012, after police found that he’d been drinking with friends at a tattoo shop. According to court documents, drinking was a violation of a protective order against him, and he was arrested. Lohr then failed to appear in court in that case Feb. 20, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. . .
Lohr has a criminal record going back to 1992. In 1996, after he pleaded guilty to burglarizing a home, court records show he was ordered to have no contact with his estranged wife after she told police he repeatedly broke into her home and stole items to pawn.
In 2006, Lohr was charged with burglary with a weapon and assault causing serious bodily injury. Court records show those charged were dismissed because of a lack of evidence.

Burglary and assault and violating parole are not “hard luck.”

Also, getting tattoos on your face? That’s not “hard luck,” either, unless you attribute your hopeless stupidity to “hard luck.”

Next time someone expects you to feel sorry for criminals — as victims of society — just keep this idiot in mind.

Not “hard luck.” I’d say “dumb f*ck.”

What is it they say? Stupid is as stupid does?

To call this guy an idiot and stupid is to defame stupid idiots everywhere. I have a feeling that “hard luck” was not meant to be self-descriptive, but rather the fate of anyone having the misfortune to encounter him.

The “hard luck” is his shining character and personality.

It’s pretty rare that a judge will order a defendant under a protective order not to drink alcohol. This guy must have not only a serious, but a notorious issue with substance abuse.

Maybe, once while he was intoxicated, someone shaved off his eyebrows and placed the tattoos there. That would explain the “no drinking” order. 😉

Never get a tattoo anyplace the judge can see it.

And the kind of guy the liberals love.

As long as they have armed police or other guards to prevent them from having any interaction with people like him.

    True. Liberals/phonies is interchangeable.

There’s a push to restore the privilige of voting to people such as “Hard Luck.” They are guaranteed to vote for redistributing the wealth. And gun control. Morning after pills to rape victims. And redefining marriage, especially the age of consent.
