Was there ever a time that honest people did not despise John Kerry? He first came to public attention more than 40 years ago, lying about his service in Vietnam, and he has been lying about everything — every single thing — ever since. So this headline kinda set me off:

John Kerry got away with his lying for years simply because he was a member of Congress from Massachusetts, a state that hasn’t elected an honest politician in half a century or more. Most states send their criminals to prison. Massachusetts sends theirs to the Senate.

Years of experience in dishonesty are, of course, quite valuable in the office of Secretary of State, where Kerry’s predecessor wasn’t exactly an exemplar of integrity, and so the question is: Is it possible that a liar as skilled as John Kerry is overqualified for this gig?

    You have to give Secretary Kerry some slack. He was lying about sailing off Nantucket because he was signaling to near by boats with those silly nautical flags that he wanted to borrow some Grey Poupon mustard and did not want to get busted by his wife Teresa Heinz.

    With all the lying the State Department has been doing over the last ten months, you might think they’d let go of the little ones. You would be wrong.

    The first report came from two producers from CBS News who saw him board the yacht. State Dept. Official Lying Whoreperson Jen Psaki basically called THEM liars.

    Oops! They weren’t alone – a photographer for the NYDN got shots of him on board and later kayaking.

    Is there a single person working for Obama who is NOT a complete lying POS?

    Smitty is probably better informed on them than me, but there was an ’80s punk band called “Dead Kennedys.” Jello Biafra was in it (that possibly was not his real name).

    Whenever the band came up in conversation, I used to propose they expand into a big super-group. “Because you can never have too many Dead Kennedys.”

    But the worst thing was these guys weren’t journalists – they were senior news producers, just vacationing in the elite resort. And they SAW him board the boat. And State Dept. Spokesliar Jen Psaki KNEW they saw him, and still called them liars.

    Because if you don’t have pictures, it didn’t happen, apparently. The CBS guys didn’t even know the Daily News photobug was stalking the place, so they didn’t mention pictures. Poor Jan.
