Kaitlyn Hunt Back in Jail

Evidently, her bond has been revoked, or there are new charges, but here’s the booking record from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, complete with a new mug shot, and the accused sex offender’s mother says Kaitlyn Hunt turned herself in, blaming the violation of her bond on the victim:

“Poor Kaitlyn can’t help herself! She was perfectly innocent and normal until that irresistibly hot underage girl cast her voodoo spell!”

Maybe if her trashy parents would stop throwing pity parties for their brats and instead teach them to respect the law . . .

UPDATE: Apparently the violation of terms of her release was clear enough to the bondsman, WPEC-TV reports:

Sheriff’s spokesperson Thom Raulen added, “Tonight at approximately 9pm, Kate Hunt was brought into the county jail by a representative from the bail/bond company which had posted her bond. This was not a result of judicial action but rather done at the discretion of the bail/bond agent.

Good luck finding someone else to go your bail after you violate terms of pretrial release this flagrantly. Donald Douglas observes:

Funny, I swear I remember being lectured, quite forcibly, during the seventies that nobody “deserves” to be raped… and the thing is, I never ever thought anyone did, but for whatever reason, all us guys got The Lecture from furiously earnest buzz cut females. They never bothered to harangue the girls, right?

    Am I right? Show of hands girls, any of you get the barely veiled accusatory Lecture? I mean, I was specifically told that because I had a penis I was a potential rapist. So doesn’t it follow that a woman in possession of a dildo is, as well? Can somebody help me out here?

  8. I thought parole violators were always arrested at midnight by a crapload of state troopers and FBI agents who invite the media along to video it while the Secretary of State blames the violator for starting World War III? Is that not the standard procedure in the States?

  12. The age difference matters; the victim was below the age of consent. Many states differentiate penalties based on difference in ages such as a 16 yo and 18 yo. The difference here is that a) the victim was below the age of consent; b) there was a 4 year age difference.

    Would you feel different if it was the lesbian gym teacher victimizing a 14 year old?

The situation you describe would likely require a bunch of female state troopers and FBI agents, and inviting the media would only encourage pornographers to make a movie featuring female state troopers and FBI agents “arresting” a lesbian cheerleader.

    Gary Herndon claims that the photographic and video evidence of Hunt’s lewd bond violations is probably fake. But he insists that he “would have to see the evidence, for professional only. Not interested in anything herein.”

    Yeah, Herndon has probably wanted to “professionally” review such evidence since he first creeped into the Free Kate ranks.

  28. I’m reminded of an old Was (Not Was) song: “Dad, I’m In Jail”. It became a running joke amongst myself and my friends when one of them had a 16-year-old girlfriend as to what would happen if they actually had sex.
