I guess if Syria isn’t proving enough of a distraction, or the IRS scandal, or the Benghazi scandal, then #OccupyResoluteDesk is just going to have to hit the road and whack the people with his rhetorical bludgeon to keep them from noticing the debt ceiling negotiations (emphasis mine):

Then there is a question over whether there is enough hush money for the unions:

Now, according to Rachana Dixit of InsideHealthPolicy, the administration is “working on regulations to address the issue” that people covered under Taft-Hartley plans aren’t eligible for subsidies. But it’s not an “issue” in the sense of being a glitch or a mistake; union leaders are seeking special treatment, and additional taxpayer subsidies, that other participants in employer-sponsored coverage don’t get.

  5. These people have made a train wreck of everything they’ve touched. So now they’re going out to sell a disasterpiece, major components of which they have delayed. One has to wonder if Roberts would’ve ruled as he did had he known this corrupt administration was going to make all these exemptions, delays and other changes. And shouldn’t he have known?

    Justice Roberts isn’t quite the sharp pencil we thought he was after all.

  7. Considering the close coordination between the White House, former SecState Clinton, and the Muslim Brotherhood (speaking for the Benghazi attackers), I wonder when that association began?
    How did we start selling shoulder-fired air defense missiles – the perfect weapon to turn Afghanistan into Dien Bien Phu II with thousands of our troops – to our mortal enemies?

Unforeseen events happen in the world and many of those things are NOT in the control of the US, much less the US President. Need an example? How about 9/11? President Bush HAD to react…most people don’t find fault with that imperative. Many do criticize the he methods but not his desire to defend the nation, however…you stated point is that the President is a rodeo clown because world events are not neatly folding into some sort of pre-planned scenario. News flash: the real world is not a Tom Clancy novel…much messier…demonizing our current leaders is cowardly.
