Kaitlyn Hunt has been reminded why they call it ‘jailbait’

You may recall that three weeks ago, Kaitlyn Hunt’s mother was shocked that her Precious Little Pervert was in a real jail with real criminals.

Tuesday night, Kelley Hunt Smith posted on Facebook:

She’s been having some trouble with a few inmates bullying her, but she spoke to a supervisor and they assured her they would take care of it. It scares me so bad having her in jail, she is just a kid, she’s so afraid. Her spirit is so broken. We try to encourage her as best as we can. She is trying so hard to stay positive. She loves reading the letters we send and the ones you all send her as well, it really lifts her spirit, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m praying so hard everyday that something positive happens and soon. We are still fighting and preparing for this trial. It’s so hard to understand how all this is really happening, it’s just so wrong. I have to stay strong and focus on Kate and our family. Thank you all for the love, prayers and support. #FREEKATE #NEVERGIVINGUP

See, Kaitlyn Hunt’s mother is “praying so hard everyday,” but on May 17, Mama Hunt was denouncing the victim’s parents as religious bigots for opposing their 14-year-old daughter’s involvement with a tattoo-covered dildo-wielding dopehead lesbian hoodlum.

For some reason, Kelley Hunt Smith’s prayers “that something positive happens and soon” have not been answered to her satisfaction.

Maybe God thinks Kaitlyn’s imprisonment is “something positive.”

And maybe God decided to answer the prayers of religious “bigots.”

You were going to shut down this blog with a “media blackout,” remember? God didn’t answer that prayer either, did he?

You stay classy, Cool Mom. And if you’re looking for sympathy, maybe you should get in touch with Shawn Lauterbach next time you visit the Indian River County Jail. He certainly feels your pain.

    So she’s being “Bullied”.

    And she went to.. the authorities?

    And now that’s… _Bad_ according to Kelley? (And what about outing Kate as a Snitch?)

  3. Note: I said emotionally, not intellectually. If I had said the latter I would grant your point. But under the circumstances, no. There are a lot of kids that make decisions no reasonable adult would make. In this case, that’s exactly what she did because she had a kid’s sense they could get away with it. She knows different now, and the lesson will be driven home in a way she’ll never forget.

  4. I know people in their 40’s and 50’s who are emotionally children. Best way to get some one to grow up is to treat them like the adults they are suppose to be.

  6. County jails typically are not anything like prisons. Firstly they are run by locals. The locals also tend to recognize that not everyone in there is a hardened, violent criminal. They also recognize that most of the people who pass through are locals as well.

    People flow through local jail for the most mild of offenses – failure to appear for traffic tickets, etc. So jailers often show greater concern about maintaining a secure and safe environment.

    Not being hardened criminals the inmates also tend respond better to jailers’ requests that they knock that shit off.

  7. Think about the fact that prisoners have sued over the shape of toilet seats in prison and won. There’s your answer about what guards are allowed to get away with. With the grievance protocols the states, counties and cities have to comply with, there just isn’t much a guard can get away with. And if you say but guard so&so did, I’ll pointedly ask : And how did you find out about it. I’ll even answer for you, media. Because the grievance process works too well.

    Not you specifically, but you as an example. Not picking on you.

  10. Perhaps – just perhaps – everyone should have thought about this outcome before letting Kaitlyn begin fingering and wielding a dildo upon a minor child? Just a thought.

    When you choose an action, you choose the consequences of that action. If you don’t want the consequences, such as going to jail until trial and being bullied, then do not violate non-contact orders. It’s really quite simple.

    My sympathy for Kaitlyn Hunt ended when she violated the no-contact order so flagrantly. Even her parents’ bad advice probably did not consist of, “Oh, have your friends bring the victim to you so that you may sexually assault her some more. It will help your case!”

    This is all on Kaitlyn. Too bad.

  12. The Hunt family are truly iconic figures in the new American model of dysfunctional, amoral, nihilistic dirtbags. They’re clueless how other people view them and their demonic spawn. A lack of self awareness seems to be present in narcissistic a-holes like Kelley. Maybe Kate will get scared straight in the jail and emancipate herself from Mommie Dearest.

  14. ‘I’m praying so hard everyday …’ are you sure she didn’t just spelled ‘preying’ wrong? That would be consistent with what her whole family does to everyone they come into contact with 24/7. Then again, it’s probably naive of me to expect that much self-awareness on Kelly’s part.

  16. I seriously doubt it. She’s already proved she is a real danger that cannot be trusted, my guess is that the most lenient offer would be for her to stay in jail until the victim turns 18. (I’d personally prefer for her to stay in jail until the victim graduates university.)

  18. Not from what I understand. Cops or even ex-cops can typically get favorable treatment and can pull strings within these ‘fraternities.’

There are penalties for inmates filing ‘unsustained grievance,’ agree they are unlikely going to be able to stick anything in her, but if they had wanted to pick on her they can keep targeting her for random strip search and get away with it. Though that’s for prisons, I’m not so sure about jails.

  25. Why would the State Attorney call the victim? Kate in police interview admitted to the crime, text messages and images prove she sent pornography. 1 day and State will probably rest.

  26. If there are penalties for bogus grievances, they were instituted after I quit being a guard, because they sure weren’t in effect when I was. Mind you I’ve only been out of it for 14 years.

I’d worked in both a county jail and a state prison, and thought then they were about equally as harsh… Many county inmates actually looked forward to their transfers to the state facility because of the better amenities… Of course, neither of these facilities can be compared to a federally operated P.M.I.T.A. facility!

    I have no idea what county jails are like these days, but in the early 1980’s, when I was conducting asbestos investigations in one, it was a jungle.
