Catholic Education: C**ts & Communism

Would you believe that this was part of the curriculum of a radical feminist workshop sponsored by a Catholic University?

Marquette University in Wisconsin hosted this “FemSex” workshop last spring and, while the university has announced it will no longer sponsor “FemSex,” the fact that the administration at a Catholic university thought this course was acceptable tells you something about how far the advance of radical leftism has gone in our nation’s educational institutions. From the course syllabus:

FemSex provides a safe space for exploration, encourages honest dialogue, and facilitates collective learning. . . .
Evolving from the long-running, student-led courses at UC Berkeley and Brown University, FemSex seeks to bring the values of empowerment, diversity, and community to the university setting. . . .
Themes include pleasure, health, gender, consent, boundaries, privilege, power, body image, communication, race, class, orgasms, masturbation, sex, kink, and sexual identities. . . .

Week 12: Empowerment, Final Projects, and Wrap Up
4/29
What is power and who has it? What does it mean to be empowered? What are the various sources of our personal powers? We will consider each topic in our curriculum as it relates to women’s empowerment. We will discuss community building and support amongst people, self-esteem, and confidence building.
Each FemSexy will present phe’s final project, a chance to either reflect on personal experiences of FemSex or further explore a top discussed throughout the season. In the past, some of these projects have taken the form of visual art, video, poetry, exploring a new source/form of pleasure, engaging in a difficult conversation around sexuality, and much more — whatever is most helpful to you in processing and concluding your experience. It’s up to you!
As we say goodbye to a season of FemSex, we will discuss where we wish to go from here, within our own lives and communities.
Take-Home Exercises may include:
• Cunt Coloring: Color an anatomical picture from The Cunt Coloring Book.
• Affirmation Assignment: Affirm someone in a manner of your choosing.
• Birth/Adoption Assignment: Talk to your parent(s)/guardian(s) about the experience of your birth, adoption, or how they came to have you.
• Erotica: Crate an anonymous piece of erotica exploring fantasy and desire.
• Pleasure Point: Find a new pleasure point or pleasurable activity, and write about (or express in another medium) the experience
• Empowerment Object: Bring in something that you find empowering to share with the group.

What is this about? It is about campus “Women’s Studies”/”Gender Studies” as programs as a political weapon, as an ideological indoctrination in radical feminism, as a lesbian recruiting operation, and as a campus base for gay-rights advocacy. Feminist leaders have been quite explicit about their belief that lesbianism is the ultimate form of women’s “empowerment”:

[University of California-Santa Cruz Women’s Studies] Professor Bettina Aptheker is the daughter of a famous American Communist, the late Herbert Aptheker . . .
Professor Bettina Aptheker is by her own proud admission both a Communist and a self-described “lesbian activist.” . . . Aptheker’s course syllabus describes lesbianism as the “highest state of feminism” . . . In other words, change in sexual orientation is an inevitable final stage in the development of the socially conscious individual.

Feminism’s relentless demonization of males as unfairly benefiting from discrimination (“patriarchy”) and the celebration of perverse gynocentric fetishes (“a difficult conversation around sexuality,” hint hint) are all about teaching vulnerable women that heterosexuality is inferior, that men are the enemy and that lesbianism is therefore the only way to escape the oppression of “male dominance.” This is feminism as distaff Marxism, as a revolutionary ideology to destroy traditional culture. And this is not an accident:

Allison Jaggar is professor of philosophy and a former chair of the Women’s Studies Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder  . . . Integrating Marxism and feminist theory, Jaggar describes herself as a “socialist feminist” and “activist,” who seeks to combat “the male-dominant structure of everyday life.” . . .
“The political economy of socialist feminism,” writes Jaggar, “establishes that, in contemporary society, women suffer a special form of exploitation and expression. . . . The distinctive social experience of women generates insights that are incompatible with men’s interpretations of reality . . . The validity of these insights . . . must be tested in political struggle . . .”

To be true feminist, you must be a Marxist lesbian. It is difficult to say whether perversion or subversion is more essential to the radical project on America’s campuses, including Seattle University, a Catholic institution that has invited 1960s radical terrorist Angela Davis to speak to students there. Who is Angela Davis?

Angela Davis is the dangerous criminal who helped smuggle weapons into a courtroom, including the shotgun that was used to blow off the head of federal Judge Harold Haley. She is a lifelong Communist revolutionary who embraces America’s enemies and who — surprise! surprise! — is also an outspoken feminist:

An online campaign has been launched by a conservative Catholic group to oppose the upcoming scheduled appearance of Angela Davis at Seattle University, a Catholic institution.
“It would be difficult to find a speaker who contradicts the teaching of the Catholic Church on more levels than Angela Davis,” writes James Bascom for TFP Student Action. “Stalin maybe? She is a notorious feminist, Marxist, communist, socialist who engages in pro-abortion, pro-same-sex ‘marriage’ activism.”

Angela Davis advocates abortion as necessary to feminist revolution:

“Birth control — individual choice, safe contraceptive methods, as well as abortions when necessary — is a fundamental prerequisite for the emancipation of women,” wrote Davis in her book Women, Race and Class.

Angela Davis is anti-traditional marriage, but pro-gay marriage:

At San Jose State University, Davis stated: “Even those of us who are critical of the institution of marriage should be able to say if some people have the right to get marriage, then everybody should have the civil right to get married.”

Hey, Catholics: You have a problem here. Excuse me for observing that the problem goes to the very top of the clerical hierarchy.

There can be no compromise between Marxist radicalism and Christianity. Marxism is committed to the destruction of Christianity.

  1. No, Christbag, go f*ck yourself and after you do that go play in traffic. And a half-wit socon is judging someone elses intelligence? LOL! That’s a laugh, Gump! So sweet that you’re sticking up for Alessandra too even though she like’s girls.

  2. So are you, you hateful rag, and no matter how many times you read your Bible or pray to Jesus is going to change that either, fuckhead. And I’m not really that left either. I just despise religious moralists more than any other form of life.

  3. Of course you do because you’re a fucking douchebag. And if one sticks up for the gay community against the authoritarian horde on the right, they must be gay as well? You’re truly pathetic.

  4. What other type of moralist is there? For those without morals all there is is emptiness and a dissolute existence, one without value or efficacy. Lack of a moral compass results in weakness and vacuity of person, a non-entity following the commands of their puppeteer, unable to form cogent thought or act in a rational manner.

  5. Sure I can remember what I said, you pathetic, socon maggot. Do you really believe because you hide behind a Bible, you’re a decent person? LOL! You’re a lowlife, hateful dreg that the world would be far better off without.

  6. Of course you believe such nonsense and that an individual can’t make moral, responsible decisions without some kind of authority making him do so. Show’s what a weakling and automaton you are.

  7. Your opinion. If I am to take your opinion over my own, you must convince me yours is superior to mine. Start by laying out what charitible works you perform, how you have positively affected the lives of people around you, how many people you have fed, clothed, sheltered. How many sick people have you visited this month? How many imprisoned people have you visited? How much have you contributed to the support of widows and orphans? How many meals on wheels have you delivered or how many stray injured animals have you had in your home as fosters?
Before you can convince me you are a better person than I, you must show that you are a moral and compassionate being.
Failing that, you are simply a hate filled chump that trolls conservative sites and flings lies and invective as a chimp flings poo …

  8. No one, no authority makes me act in a moral manner, I choose to and am inspired to by the utter elegance and simplicity of Christ’s message. His is a yoke that rests lightly on the shoulder of anyone who willingly follows Him.

  9. The Catholic ‘hierarchy’ isn’t remotely as top down as some might think, or possibly wish to think.

But, the long march has certainly left it’s mark in many Church institutions.

Benedict started a process of bringing US women Religious back into line with Church doctrine on issues such as abortion, marriage, and socialism/communism. Francis is following through with the process, but it will take time, and – most importantly – will never be what some might expect or demand.

Again, contrary to the perceived Catholic Faith, the actual Catholic Faith is quite tolerant on matters of individual conscience. If it is not specifically doctrinal then it is open for individual interpretation.

Remember, we are the religion of Free Will.

  10. A prime example of falling for incomplete, misleading or plain false ‘reporting’ about the Church.

The only question is whether it is done wittingly or unwittingly.

I know very few people who have knowingly rejected the Faith as it truly exists. I know many, many times more who have never had the chance to do so.

  11. the Pope: “We need to proclaim the Gospel on every street corner,” the pope says, “preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing, even with our
preaching, every kind of disease and wound. In Buenos Aires I used to
receive letters from homosexual persons who are ‘socially wounded’
because they tell me that they feel like the church has always condemned
them. But the church does not want to do this. During the return flight
from Rio de Janeiro I said that if a homosexual person is of good will
and is in search of God, I am no one to judge.

    =============

So he is saying the Church shouldn’t condemn homosexuality because it upsets the feelings of people with a homosexual problem. Why is that any different than saying we shouldn’t condemn S&M, trafficking, rape, pedophilia, adultery, etc because we are going to upset the little warped feelings of such people everywhere?

The Church is there to lay down the moral guideline – not to tell perverted and deformed people they are normal so that they can feel better. These people need to go resolve their problems. Saying their sexual perversities are OK or irrelevant is a grotesque lie. And that’s one reason why I don’t like this Pope.

Second reason is, notice who he talks about: the people with a homosexual problem who wrote him letters. The overwhelming majority of people with a homosexual or bisexual mindset that I come across have told the Pope and churches to go take a walk a long time ago, and they care about one thing only – pursuing their perverted kicks, regardless of how much harm they do to others (perverted advances, harassment, molestation, abuse) – and certainly willing to do everything their minds can conjure to get away with impunity to any harm they do. Have the people who wrote him letters tried to resolve their homosexual problem? Or do they just want everyone to ignore it and accept it so that they continue to pursue it? The Pope doesn’t have the gall to confront any gay mafia, any gay-related problem anywhere. He’s going on a like-me! like-me! I’m not conservative PR campaign – and it’s ridiculous.

Sorry, but no. Time to face the problem head on.

  12. So he is saying the Church shouldn’t condemn homosexuality because it upsets the feelings of people with a homosexual problem.

No, that’s not at all what he’s saying. He’s saying that a homosexual person who is truly looking for God can find redemption. Implicit is that in that search for God the homosexual person is not acting on their inclinations. In other words, again we must make the distinction between the person and the act.

The overwhelming majority of people with a homosexual or bisexual mindset that I come across have told the Pope and churches to go take a walk a long time ago

Thus the caveat about being in search of God. The people writing him letters clearly are, while the others are not.

  13. “It will take time.” Yes, indeed. People forget that the Catholic church, like the Chinese, think in terms of the long game, not the short one.

  14. In a response to one of Alessandra’s previous comments, I posted a link to a talk by Rev. Paul Scalia on the church’s view of homosexuality, which is that it is disordered behavior and people who feel the pull to engage in it should remain abstinent and lead lives of prayer. It is another sin like fornication and adultery in many ways. What was so fascinating about the talk is that at the end of it, one of the speakers is a man who walked away from what he himself refers to as a homosexual lifestyle, and returned to the church.

  15. Where we disagree is right here: Having a perverted mind is a sin, regardless of how you then act. While an individual cannot be blamed if their mind produces a desire they can’t control, and especially a perverted or perverse desire, they are responsible what they do about it and how much they feed their perverse desires, thoughts, fantasies, etc. Not investigating the underlying problems that are contributing to the generation of that desire is neglectful and irresponsible, and only contributes to maintaining the psychological/social/ideological problems that generate
the perverted desire in the first place.

People with a homosexuality problem need to investigate the etiology of their problem and resolve it. The Church, which cannot provide therapy,
is mostly ineffectual in this respect and thus largely incapable to help
    deal with many root issues.

    ====

“The people writing him letters clearly are, while the others are not.”

You don’t even know who they are or what they are doing. All we know is that they are complaining about being “condemned.” I’m underscoring this because a lot of people who have perverted minds do NOT want to *deal* with their problems – they just want acceptance, they simply want to feel better – that’s all. It’s just like the Church shuffling along its homosexual pedophiles – oh, let’s put them in another parish, we’ve already asked them to repent, problem solved. And then they abused again. A surprise to whom?

  16. I think the current Pope is waving a few red flags. Given the history of the Jesuits, they do not bear trusting. Malachi Martin, who was a Jesuit, in his works basically told us that the Jesuits have betrayed the Roman Catholic Church.

  17. IMHO, Catholics really need to watch the current Pope like a hawk. What he is saying is carefully composed to appeal to the sinner in a way they like, while making it seem like he’s actually closer to the traditionalists. Don’t ever forget he’s a Jesuit, and don’t forget what being a Jesuit has actually come to mean. They long ago left behind Loyola.

  18. I would have to disagree with you Alessandra. having perverted mind is not a sin, but it is the result of the original sin. Some are affected more than others, but all those outside of Christ, i.e., those not “Born Again,” have that problem because they have never repented and so have never entered a faith relationship with Christ and been regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
At the bottom line, We may be tempted from outside and resist successfully because of what we become in Christ. But if we are tempted from inside, we have a serious problem that can only be solved by being Born Again, and that takes place only through the process of repentance. No one arrives at that point on their own, but only by being drawn by God himself.

  19. Normally I say there’s no such thing as an ugly pu**y, but THAT one looks like someone got hit in the crotch with an axe.

  20. Hey protestants/evangelicals, how about you watch your own damn leaders before blasting the Pope? Ted Haggard, Eddie Long, Paul Crouch, Jack Schaap, Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Benny Hinn…..

  21. Nice work – good troll repellant.
Might need to spread more around as we seem to have drawn them out on this post.

  22. I had high hopes for Francis… His early remarks as Pope that seemed to acknowledge the existence of a powerful homosexual lobby in the RCC led me to think that perhaps a long-overdue purge of homosexuals from the Church leadership might be forthcoming.

    Now I doubt that…

Henceforth, I’m going to take every thing this guy says with a grain of salt, and if he’s ever going regain any respect and credibility with moi, it will be because of his actions! His conciliatory tone now in regards to homosexuality and its practitioners is the last straw!

  23. having perverted mind is not a sin, Some are affected more than others,
    =========
You can only say this by equating being perverted with not being perverted – which is a logical fallacy. You can only say this by claiming that an evil mind is not sinful, another fallacy.

Having a pedophilia problem is not equal to not having a pedophilia problem. Having a perverted mind towards children is not equal to having a healthy and loving mind towards children. Some people are in no way pedophiles; it’s not a question that some people are more pedophiles than others but everyone is a pedophile as you claim. And that’s because no one is born a pedophile. Pedophilia is not caused by anything before birth, it’s what some people’s mind degenerate into because of deforming experiences after they are born. The same thing with homosexuality. Thus if sin is something that deforms and perverts the mind, having a pedophilic mind is a sin and having a healthy mind towards children is not.

  24. Alessandra my dear, Our Lord oft gives us challenges to overcome, our crosses to bear as it were. Many times these are simple things like relation problems, children problems, financial challenges, etc. The most powerful ones deal with desires and your control over your own free will. These often have to do with sex, drugs, alcohol, violence and mental illness. These challenges can always be overcome with God’s help. Man alone cannot overcome these challenges, only through confessing to God ones sins, a truthful and ardent desire to refrain from sin and calling upon God’s Grace to make it so (through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit), and true repentance can we overcome these challenges to our relationship with God.
It is not sinful to have a perverted mind but it is sinful to give in to that perverted mind and commit sinful acts. To have a sick and perverted mind and to resist those thoughts, temptations and urges through the action of the indwelling Holy Spirit is a purifying thing, strengthening your spiritual resolve and earning a place in Heaven through a closer walk with God. All things are possible with God.
