The Sex Charge Against Brett Kimberlin @NealRauhauser Wanted You to See

Click here or click the image to see the complete document:

Brett Kimberlin’s estranged wife filed those charges on July 29, and I reported the charges she filed. The charges were subsequently dropped, for reasons unclear to me, but Brett Kimberlin has sued me and four others, claiming he is a victim of “malicious prosecution, conspiracy to abuse process, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and stalking.”

Then, predictably, the online entities of “Team Kimberlin” began boasting online about how everything alleged by convicted perjurer and pro se litigant Brett Kimberlin is certainly true and the defendants are undeniably guilty. Team Kimberlin (including Bill Schmalfeldt, Neal Rauhauser, @BreitbartUnmask and @x3n0ph0n) claimed to possess knowledge of proceedings in the case, alleging that I had been “served” in Maryland (false) and asserting that Ali Akbar was “dodging” service in the case (he is not). All of this pro-Kimberlin activity, you understand, undermines a key allegation in the Kimberlin v. Walker et al. lawsuit, namely that the defendants have defamed him by describing the activities of “Team Kimberlin.”

Kimberlin’s association with Bill Schmalfeldt and Neal Rauhauser is an easily demonstrated fact, and the coordinated actions of @BreitbartUnmask and @x3n0ph0n are similarly provable.

Neal Rauhauser at Netroots Nation conference, 2010.

It should not be forgotten that Rauhauser’s connection to Kimberlin was what originally inspired my interest in this story. But Neal can’t help bragging, and so he went online to claim that the sex charge Kimberlin’s estranged wife filed on July 29 was a “smear,” a “fake rape charge,” for which the Kimberlin v. Walker, et al. lawsuit was deserved punishment:

This is not the first time that Rauhauser’s habitual bragging has hurt Kimberlin (see my Sept. 17 post, “BOOM: Neal Rauhauser Admits Playing Key Role in Brett Kimberlin Lawsuit“), but Rauhauser evidently shares Kimberlin’s belief that a $1 million lawsuit will shut me up while his various associates help Kimberlin create yet another phony “Accuse the Accusers” narrative. This has been the pattern going back more than two years — ask Patterico about the frivolous lawsuit Neal Rauhauser incited Nadia Naffe to file — and it would seem to be Neal and Brett’s belief they can keep running this game forever.

No, you can’t. It’s going to stop. Kimberlin will lose his lawsuit, and Neal Rauhauser’s dishonest harassment is part of the reason why.

Everybody go read the details in the document Brett Kimberlin’s estranged wife filed July 29, and then compare my coverage:

Was my reporting and commentary justified by the descriptions in the document? And, in light of previous reporting about Kimberlin, was this implausible? Furthermore, did it not seem likely that Kimberlin might seek to harm or intimidate his estranged wife in retaliation for her having made these accusations against him? So if these charges were subsequently withdrawn, is it not possible that his estranged wife was coerced or intimidated into dropping the charges?

Go read the the petition for a domestic protection order that Kimberlin’s estranged wife filed on July 7, a development in this strange story that I did not report until July 9. Kimberlin’s wife says she left him in December — seven months before I knew anything about her — and I never saw her in person until the day of the July 29 hearing.

So exactly how Brett Kimberlin, a convicted perjurer, imagines he will prove that my coverage of this story constitutes “malicious prosecution, conspiracy to abuse process, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, harassment, intentonal infliction of emotional distress, and stalking” is certainly mysterious.

Maybe he thinks he can lie his way through it.

But if that lying creep Brett Kimberlin thinks he can make me shut up because I’m afraid of him or Neal Rauhauser or Bill Schmaleldt or any other idiots who have signed up for Team Kimberlin, he is sadly mistaken, because that is a game that Homey does not play.

I had no plans to publish that document, and if Brett Kimberlin wants to blame anyone beside himself, he can blame Neal Rauhauser.

  1. In light of Neal’s admitted assistance with “twitter forensics” in the case, wouldn’t he need to be present for the hearing? Wouldn’t the Maryland authorities then be obliged to arrest him on his outstanding warrants? And if he doesn’t show, doesn’t that get everything he bragged about doing thrown out? Man, I’ll be Kimberlin is buying up all the alarm clocks he can find about now IYKWIMAITYD

  2. Former associates who know him well describe Rauhauser as having a 160 IQ.

The problem, however, is that Raushauser is “impulsive” to quote one former associate who is quite literally afraid of him. He is also fascinated by deception, secrecy and social-engineering. He has written openly about his methods, because he is a narcissist who craves admiration.

Also, Rauhauser shares with Bill Schmalfeldt a deep streak of sadism. Neal relishes the idea that his cleverness makes him a feared antagonist, and tries to terrify people with scary warnings. The February 2012 “Kookpocalypse” countdown was the best example of this trait. Once you learn the pattern, however, you recognize that Neal is a braggart and a bullshit artist.

The problem, however, is that many people are naive about online deception and don’t recognize how devious Neal is. In fact, many people have been deceived by Neal WITHOUT EVER KNOWING that it was Neal who was manipulating them, because of his habit of using sockpuppets or second-hand proxy attacks. Neal has clearly fed bullshit to many of these people (e.g., “Occupy Rebellion” and “@catsrimportant”) who don’t seem to question his motives or honesty.

He’s evil and crazy. But not stupid.

  3. That post (Zile) was written by a member of a group of liberals called UniteBlue. Although I don’t agree with their political ideas, after reading quite a few of their twitter messages I can say they seem like nice, committed people. Neal is a member of a group of people that have made their life difficult because he’s crazy and they don’t follow his emoprog crap. And because he’s crazy.

  4. Take two narcissists, BK and NR with competing interests and aim them at each other, then watch the resulting fireworks. That’s a level of brilliance usually reserved for Nobel prize winning physicists. Well done, RSM.

  5. When they caught Kimberlin in his ranger rick get-up in the copy shop, he actually tried to eat his forgeries. I want to see that happen in open court.

  6. Kimberlin is yet another example of “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing”, and in his case it’s the proverbial rope to hang himself with. He’s educated himself on the law just enough to abuse it, but nothing that would make him even a mediocre respectable lawyer.

Rauhauser, on the other hand, is quite intelligent. But whereas he probably sees himself as a mad genius, he’s much less Einstein or Newton and a whole lot of Hannibal Lecter. (And for fellow anime/manga dorks, he’d be Light Yagami)

  7. The troll doll at the bottom of that thing — hilarious inside joke about Neal’s fascination with Maltego graphs.

  8. I just wonder if the closest 300 neighbors around little brettie foo foo at 6513 79th Pl, Cabin John, MD 20818 or at 8100 Beech Tree Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817 have a copy of that affidavit?

Anyone up for a good walk one day soon?

  9. Neal even sends emails to the FBI to set up other people by saying they were setting “HIM” up by accusing him of making death threat calls. Funny how that all falls apart when those other people, J. MicGibney in this case, never made such an accusation. Great way to build CREDIBILITY with the FBI . . . NOT. http://imgur.com/lwPcrcM But of course he and all his buddies will call everyone else a snitch. Oh wait. . . .

  10. Neal is out for Neal. He will throw all of his associates under the bus sooner or later, just as he did from the start. He uses associates as Ace cards. He has things to hide.

What you say to Neal Rauhauser can and will be used against you when he feeds his alibis to the feds. What you say to your friends about Neal Rauhauser can and will be used against you in conspiracy article #93,486. Whether alibi or conspiracy theory – All of it, has been lies.

The reason the feds haven’t arrested him yet is because of his connections to Infragard, Project Vigilant, Anonymous-infiltrations and politicos. That’s on their heads and they know it. They don’t want the embarrassment. Sooner or later, they know they have to deal with this, embarrassment or not. But never think you’re going to get the agent that used Neal as a source to do it because that will never happen. You have to go to someone who doesn’t give a crap about anything but upholding the law and doesn’t care who gets embarrassed. They’re out there but you do have to look around a little.

There were 2 deleted tweets today someone emailed me, where he set up something to place swatting blame on innocent people who were targets of his and Scott Fayner. He spoke of it the day before this even happened. It comes at a very suspicious time when some past evidence about him was spoken about by an attorney who is talking to the police now. Evidence that says he was trying to have a Senator swatted. That will come out after the investigation is completed. It’s solid.

    Neal Rauhauser @NealRauhauser
Old addr for Melissa B swatted, Lane L isn’t talking but *something* happened. No word on Jennifer G Capri J, but assume they were hit, too.
    *******************************************************
    Neal Rauhauser @NealRauhauser
So @BullyVille/@Captien_Obvious (samefag) directed attn to Jennifer G, Melissa B, Lane L, Capri J, saying they were @OccupyRebellion

Curiously, someone on the right who I won’t mention here because he’s a disease in my opinion, whispered in Bullyville’s ear and some others, trying to push the Jennifer George names out there as being OccupyRebellion. This same person tried to dump Mike Stack with a Jennifer George task, but he wasn’t that stupid. Then he/they wrote a false pastebin based on someone else’s research concluding a different and baseless result – Jennifer George Capri. Then all of a sudden the alleged swattings took place and you know who is right there in the thick of it, again.

Nice summary, McCain. Will throwback to this one.

  11. In conclusion, I think this last swatting allegation is a deflection based on evidence that’s being talked about in certain circles. Make no mistake about it, Neal Rauhauser is watching what they say very closely. He’s terrified and his timeline and bullshit stories prove it.

  12. I’ve conversed with Zile on twitter a few times. Neal and his ilk have been attacking her and some of her friends for not being “real liberals” because they will actually talk with conservatives.

  13. Really? I’ve known sociopaths and I rate him a 5. I don’t find him the least bit frightening. And he makes too many dumb mistakes for me to take that 160 number seriously. Perhaps I’ve spent my years around a better class of monsters. I will definitely give you this…he’s smarter than Kimberlin. But he’s still just a 5.

  14. That would be unfortunate. Just like it was unfortunate when Kimberlin called DC and threatened Blog Bash. Or had Walker’s former employer threatened.

You know what else would be unfortunate? If all those neighbors got copies of newspaper articles of the Speedway Bomber (with pictures). They have an historical figure living right next door to them!

Oh well. I don’t have the time.

  15. It wasn’t you. My answer should have been more specific. I suppose I was posting more for them, which is why it was a little snarky and vague.

And remember when Kimberlin lied to the judge and tried to have his wife involuntarily committed by saying she was off her meds? She hadn’t been prescribed any meds. For anything. A total fabrication.

  16. It he can’t use her then his case is even more toast because he needs her to lie for him.

But she can be deposed, as can BK. And everything back to childhood is fair game and discoverable. Speedway. The Barton girl. Julia Scyphers. The DeLong judgment. Underage bridehunting in the Ukraine. All of it. Should be fun.

  17. Remember that having a high IQ and having even as much common sense as God gave marshmallows are NOT synonymous. I know plenty of geniuses who couldn’t figure their way out of a paper bag, unless that happened to be their narrow area of interest/speciality. If he’s paranoid, that doesn’t help his ability to think things through properly either.

  18. Yes he has alluded that BullyVille is somehow responsible for SWATing of Jennifer G, Melissa B (House of Ruth), Lane L. Capri J., etc. Now watch if they get SWATed who will he try to pin it on? He even tweeted to the head of BullyVille’s PR firm Lexicon. Also tweeted Melissa B and recommended reach out to her 47K followers and have them contact Lexicon as well and it appears he may have actually called Lexicon directly with his BS. The tweets are still on his timeline, but we know that won’t last.

  19. Back when I played Dungeons & Dragons, there were separate stats for Intelligence and Wisdom. His INT might be 16 or so but his WIS is at most half that.

  20. Rauhauser has a bad fetish, among others, for duper’s delight. It always shows, he just can’t help it. I’m always amazed when anybody has been taken in by him or ever takes his creatures or his plots at face value. Not that he isn’t spiteful enough to do real damage, that can be real – he steps that up when he’s thwarted.
