Iran: No Deal Is a Good Deal

Our anti-American president and our abominable Secretary of State were willing to bargain with Iran’s totalitarian death cult. Strange as it may seem, however, the French showed a bit of backbone:
Talks on curbing Iran’s nuclear program ended with no deal early Sunday after France objected that proposed measures didn’t go far enough. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said “significant progress” had been made on the remaining differences.
Six world powers and Iran agreed to resume talks Nov. 20.
Both sides badly wanted agreement. The U.S. and its five partners were looking for initial caps on Iran’s ability to make an atomic bomb, while Tehran sought some easing of sanctions stifling its economy.
But France would not soften its concerns over Iran’s plutonium project and the level of its uranium enrichment program.
This is like Munich and Chamberlain all over again, isn’t it? Even to think of negotiating with the Tehran regime is a disgrace.
Obama to Iran: If you like your nuclear program, you can keep your nuclear program.

We have a choice between war and dishonor. We can choose dishonor, and will have war anyway.

When François Hollande is more concerne about the safety of the world than John François Kerry, something is very, very wrong!

The only good thing is the Saudis are taking it in the shorts. They’ve been needing to take one in the nose for their decades of murderously playing both sides of the fence.
As for Iranian nukes, folks have been saying since 2008 that Obama would bugger the process and guarantee Iran’s getting nukes, and fully ‘rehabilitated’ into the global economy.

As disingenuous, or just as dumb?

Obama is all about kow-towing to islamists. He was happy to give advanced miltary equipment including F-18 fighters to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt even as they were undermining the democratic institutions of that country and attempting to substitute their own Sharia constitution illegally, but once a quarter of the population hit the streets to demand their ouster and the army complied, aid is in question. Same with Iran, same with the Taliban in Afghanistan, and he strengthen BOTH the al Qaeda Sunni terrorists and the Shi’ite Iranian extremists in Iraq by failing to negotiate a continuing presence there.
But it is hardly Munich. Chamberlain had no good options at that point, Britain was neither armed nor approving of war. Obama was holding ALL the cards with Iran as the sanctions had begun to force them to the table, but he unilaterally began relaxing them for nothing.
This is far worse than Munich, or the Paris surrender of Vietnam. It’s voluntary, unforced surrender to evildoers to allow them nuclear weapons.

Isn’t “no deal” actually a good deal for Iran? Now, they don’t even have to pretend to be complying with any restrictions, and no new talks for two weeks.
One can only hope that Netanyahu acts soon enough.

France’s military reputation has been in the toilet for decades, kept above water only by the Foreign Legion and similar elite forces.
But they do understand surrender, and prefer to do so in a fashion that leaves them with at least the appearance of dignity. Iran with nuclear armed missiles, even if their ranges don’t quite reach France (yet) would eliminate even the appearance of dignity. Hence their intransigence.
Kerry, on the other hand, accepts his role as the modern (but enhanced*) version of Chamberlain with an alacricity that demonstrates his allegiance to himself, and whatever dark powers stroke his oversized ego.
*: “Enhanced”, not “improved”. “Improved” would be Chamberlain after he accepted his failures in Munich. Kerry will never go there.

Hitler had no good options either. Germany was not ready for war, although they were more ready than France or Britain. However, the difference in readiness was spiritual and not in material. Chamberlain was simply beaten by a pair of deuces because he was soft and Hitler far more assertive.

Not until her CPA informs her of a profit made on this deal. One does not simply walk into Mordor, or engage in politics without making a profit.
