Disapprove of Gay Sex With Teenagers? ‘In That Case Just Shut Your Mouth’

Neutral Objective Journalism:

A columnist for the Huffington Post site says it is homophobic to criticize gay men who use Internet sex sites to meet teenage partners and only “bigots” are offended by such “nurturing intergenerational bonds.”
Publicity about a relationship between 39-year-old Hollywood screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and 19-year-old British diving champion Tom Daley has inspired criticism even from some gay rights activists.
Joshua Epstein, a blogger who identifies himself as a gay progressive Democrat, reacted to the Black-Daley affair on Twitter: “He could be his father. Yuk.” That reaction was condemned by Huffington Post columnist Michelangelo Signorile, who said only “internalized homophobia” could cause gays to criticize such relationships.
“There is an undercurrent in these comments — the ‘chicken hawk’ charge — that suggests that gay men are more likely to sexually abuse underage teens, the ugliest lie about gay men out there,” Signorile wrote Friday in Huffington Post’s “Gay Voices” section. “Hardcore homophobes are predictably pointing to Black and Daley as supposed proof. But many gay men too, so defensive about the charge and deathly fearful of how it’s used, overcompensate by saying ‘yuk.'”
Signorile specifically defended sites that promote “intergenerational” gay sex. “Some younger people are attracted to older people, and vice versa,” he wrote. “There’s even a gay website called Daddyhunt. The famed novelist Armistead Maupin’s 27-years-younger husband, Christopher Turner, founded it. The met on another one of Turner’s sites, HotOlderMale.com. If that’s not your thing, it’s totally cool, but in that case just shut your mouth.” . . .

  1. yet in Africa HIV is rampant in the heterosexual community – so are you
saying that all these Africans are perverts and actually homosexuals?

    =============

D’uh – you’ve never heard about the levels of poverty and lack of information and healthcare in Africa?

It’s completely different than in the West. Multiple sexual partners also help spread the disease. The HIV prevalence rates in North Africa are among the lowest in the world.

  2. Every one is born heterosexual. As people grow up, their minds can degenerate and be deformed any which way. And everyone makes a series of choices about sexuality and relationships.

  3. “It” applies to someone that is a “transgender” and wants me to take them seriously. I refuse to take someone’s insanity seriously unless they truly want help.

  4. First, my proclivities were blatantly sinful, even in childhood.

Second, you’re kinda asking the wrong question. I would have no desire to live as a homosexual for even a day because I have never had any desire to engage in sodomy, so your premise – which I do get – is flawed. However, once upon a time (say, when I was in college) there were various other “lifestyle choices” which I did dabble if not indulge in because those DID appeal to my particular sin makeup. Does that make me better than you because my particular failing wasn’t homosexuality? Nope. But you are able to live as that because that’s what you had some set of influences in your life that I did not have. Likewise, there are things I indulged in my old life which would do nothing for you.

But it’s ALL sin, and without Christ’s blood over us we all stand equally condemned before God.

  5. Why not? What he said is right on target.

As for your stupid strawman, depending on the reasons why a relationship falls apart, yes, it’s a failure. And it can be perverted. Like your kind of relationships.

    D’uh

  6. You don’t have to accept my anything as normal.

I’m not a Christian. I don’t believe in the concept of sin.

I don’t understand why you feel that secular government should enforce Christian views upon us non-Christians.

  7. Really – now we are generalizing arent t we? The ironically sad thing is that this low life of a person was one of the many minions pitted to over turn ant LGBT rights – yet this sick individual was doing heinous thing with her child under the guise of being a moral upstanding Christian and working for the ADF.

No more than I guess a heterosexual who has the desire to molest a child would.

  8. How would you feel if an openly Islamic President of the United States mandated that all people, Muslim or non-Muslim alike, has to avoid drinking alcohol under penalty of jailing?

  9. I make no excuse for anything she did and, on this point, I am in 100% agreement with you. Lest she repent, she will burn in the Lake of Fire for what she did; Christ Himself (who she professed as Lord) has said so, so shall it be done.

  10. One you know nothing of my relationship – but feel free to assume as you choose I really dont care – you seem to be a pretty foul human being based upon your nasty posts.

  11. God won’t force to accept anything you don’t want to accept. But you will also exist eternally in a place that is utterly unpleasant. You may not agree with the concept now, but you will. You will and it will be too late to do anything about it.

  12. For a pervert like yourself, nothing is perverted. Anyone who is decent is nasty.
Same ol’, same ol’ – you’re just a bunch of perverts and dysfunctional men running away from dealing with their profound psychological problems with women

  13. The point is, he didn’t have to. Stating it once is all he has to do.

While you are at it, you might want to consider the biblical definition of adultery. It covers far more than you seem to think.

  14. If I don’t believe in God, then you cannot force me to believe by using the government against me.

Also, a God that deliberately enjoys torturing his creations so that he smiles at their every suffering in both this world and the possible next world is not worth believing in.

IF I had to believe in some kind of God, I would pick one of love.

  15. Well at least there isn’t a push for normalizing this, right? Of course, it will drift right on down to 14 and 15 year olds, and then younger,

Dang, I just engaged in hate! I mean, truth.

  16. You clearly have a serious reading comprehension problem. I have no desire for BigGov to intervene in anyone’s life. The *ONLY* exception I make is with behaviors that are known to be damaging to society. I have utterly nothing in common with leftists. They hate my type as much you do.

The New Mexico thing was done by your type, not mine. Government has no business forcing anyone to engage in something they find immoral. If this were still the Republic that Lincoln destroyed, there would be no question that the queer’s case would have been laughed out of court.

Rather than me, it is your type that is bring big NannyGov down on all of us. You and your ilk.

  17. Wow that’s a great question. Yes I do make a choice in regards to my behavior and the lifestyles I participate in, even though my learned/acquired predilections sometimes dictate otherwise.

Most human beings have learned to master their urges and direct their behavior accordingly. I recognize this is a generalization that doesn’t apply to everyone.

  18. Off the top of my head, (a) heterosexuals are the historic majority, (b) heterosexuals reproduce whereas homosexuals *as homosexuals* cannot, illustrating natural function vs perversion (in the most technical sense of the word), and (c) homosexuality has more often than not been considered, to one degree or another, aberrant.

  19. Actually homosexuals who make up about 2% of the population do about 35-40 % of sex crimes so you’re facts are lies there Sally Strap-on

  20. You say this, and yet, in the same breath, you’re advocating for big government intervention against gay people via sodomy law, preventing gays from being married, and so on. Sheesh.

  21. really – you have a biblical definition of adultery? Is this something you can point to or you just pieced together from random biblical verses to justify your belief?

  22. Your premise is wrong. One does not need to be at all religious to oppose widespread sodomy. Not all of its opponents throughout history have been Judeo-Christian influenced, you know. There are atheists who oppose it because it’s demonstrably aberrant.

  23. God has a loving nature and he grants grace to the humble. OTOH, he does resist the proud. What that means, to put it simply, he will not force anything on you don’t want. Life’s circumstances might, but he does not.

That includes living with him for eternity. If you won’t accept him here, you’ve given your answer, and he will give what you have willfully chosen. At that point, you will have become a believer. but it will be too late.

  24. A – i agree with no one denies that,
B – Actually homosexuals do and have reproduced – even by heterosexual means.
C – But not universally – there have been many cultures that have had no problem with homosexuality.

  25. Good point. But lesbians have their own share of health and mental problems that more than make up for their lower HIV rates.

  26. Yes, you have had persecution of gay people by Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and other regimes that also detested Christianity.

But, at this moment in this country, name one single politician that believes that government should take actions against gay people that is not religious.

  27. Who let the homosexual and tranny trolls in here? Though please don’t ban them, for they are great entertainment.

  28. Now you are grasping at straws and changing the subject besides. Queers can’t marry, not because the law prevents but because of biology. When you can show that two queers have the ability to produce issue, then call me. Until then you’re simply speaking insanity.

Frankly, I’ve reached the conclusion that you are insane.

  29. B: I said reproduce AS HOMOSEXUALS, not as a homo with a hetero.

    C. Such cultures are ones I doubt either of us would want to live in, for a variety of reasons.
