Trolls Are Bad People

Posted on | April 5, 2014 | 104 Comments

Spend enough time in online New Media and eventually you discover that people who do bad things on the Internet are also usually bad people in real life, too. One of the predictable habits of bad people on the Internet is the use of multiple fake “sockpuppet” accounts to attack their enemies. Neal Rauhauser’s “Gaped Crusader” harassment against Patterico was a classic example of this pattern.

When you see a troll behaving that way online, it’s safe to assume that the troll is a wretched excuse for a human being. Confirmation of this is a long, long post Bullyville put up about Tom Retzlaff of San Antonio, Texas. Retzlaff is such a slimy creepazoid I’m astonished that Texas ever let him out of prison.

After he got out of prison, Retzlaff lied on his application to the MBA program at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), falsely claiming to be a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

When Retzlaff’s dishonesty was exposed (evidently as a result of his harassment of a Chinese foreign exchange student at UTSA), Retzlaff then sued various university employees for defamation. But somehow, despite being a convicted felon, Retzlaff lied his way into a job as a private investigator for a law firm. He got fired from that job in 2012 and then sued the law firm.  Retzlaff has tried unsuccessfully to get his criminal record expunged, but that was before he made the mistake of going to war against Bullyville.

And now you can go to TomRetzlaff.com and see all the gory details.

Pay special attention to the divorce records. Real ugly stuff there.

Advice to trolls: You don’t want to mess with Bullyville.

I know what the term “strawman” means and it does not mean what you think it means.

Whatever. I haven’t argued about Jeanne’s rights. Paying hackers with an intent to commit something illegal (like hacking) is NOT a right in anyone’s dictionary.

The “hacker” is trying to gaslight her.

    Say what?

Gaslight meaning: “manipulate (someone) by psychological means into doubting their own sanity.”

    Moving on…

Jeanne actually posted her hack request in: +- Hack Forums
+– Forum: Hacks, Exploits, and Various Discussions
    +—Forum: Website and Forum Hacking
    +—- Forum: Requests for Hacking

She KNOWS what she is doing. You can remain in denial. That’s your choice. It is ironic Jeanne is complaining that NicoleB now knows about her hack request. See link.

Also if you see NicoleB’s latest tweets, it seems Jeanne’s activity was reported to authorities. I warned you this might happen. You are partly responsible for endangering an old lady instead of helping her.

PS. Here’s Jeanne complaining that a blog by anonymous person should be taken down in wordpress forums in 2011:

“I have done that, they told me I had to get a court order. There doesn’t seem to anyway to talk to a human about this kind of stalking. Do you understand the *COST* of filing a lawsuit? ”

There are always legal ways to go given any situation. She just crossed the line this time.

With every post you mark yourself as an idiot. I’m not in denial. I know what she’s doing and she ahs the right to do it to defend herself. You are in denial that she has that right. That is the bottom line.
You are a liar and troll. Go away.

Just tell her to be careful while she defends her rights. That is all I request you.

This didn’t turn out well for me either….I have been contacted….let’s see how it goes…

It’s amazing that some people in this thread believe,

    1) Tweeting a pic of a small kid uploaded by his own father on the web with the added information of hometown (which can be found on Dad’s blog) is 100% DOXing the little kid EVEN THOUGH they themselves provide more information like the age, that he is disabled, that he is a cub scout etc, further endangering the kid to any predators.
    BUT
    2) Seeking the help of anonymous hackers and paying them to find the real life id of an anonymous person on web (in order to “make her/him shut up”) is NOT DOXing at all. Finding real name, phone # and address is NOT doxing!

Funny how self-justification bias works for some people, given you add self-righteousness and victim hood syndrome to it.
