  9. I suspect the GOP appealed to Puckett’s self-interest, IE, continued employment. This move doesn’t happen without Puckett realizing on which side his bread is buttered.

    Any direction left no matter how incremental is a win for the left and a loss for freedom.

  15. I don’t know about that. The name “Jumpin’ Jim” Jeffords rings a bell for some reason. If the ‘rats insist on writing the playbook such that cheating is OK, they can’t complain when the other party uses it on them.

  18. Pretty much. Puckett knew he was probably going down to defeat this year since his district went heavily for Romney in 2012 and somewhat less so for Stacy’s Crazy Cousin John in ’08.
