Ferguson Question For The Gungrabbers

Instapundit notes:

What’s amazing about Ferguson is that, for all the sturm und drang, the casualty count is pretty light.

Are we supposed to expect that, for all the guns and ammo in circulation, Missouri was going to melt down in some vast firefight?

Is there some point to be made that Second Amendment Gestapo really needs to get stuffed, and we can discount anyone calling for “MOAR GUN RESTRICTIONS” than we already have  from consideration for our votes?

  1. When gunfire erupts from those seeking social justice, that is not a problem. The real problem are all those guns safely locked away in gun cabinets by responsible people who love their country.

  4. If I were to go to Ferguson, I would go heeled. Missouri will honor any state’s CWP permit except Wisconsin’s.

Well… If we’re going to have sensible “gun control”, perhaps arms for the Free Citizen should be restricted to only those weapons the police, federal agents, and the security details for our well-heeled Moral Superiors™ are allowed… And we shouldn’t be allowed to carry in those places where they are not allowed to carry!

  6. As far as I know the only people shot in Ferguson so far include one police shooting that is looking more and more righteous and looters/protesters shooting each other. Which group would be impacted by more restrictive gun control?

  12. The only gun casualty was with a legal firearm carried by law enforcement, something even the nuttiest gun banner would ever publicly admit to advocate banning.
