She was hot. Figuratively and literally, as she’d been jogging at least a quarter hour.
The bush was thick, but not really that close to the path, so the rapist had to sprint to get at her. He counted on panic to freeze her, as he was frankly not in that great of shape.
She was well aware of the news concerning the park, but that was not the sort of thing that bothered her. She lashed out as she had been taught, with the heel of her hand connecting perfectly with his nose cartilage, ending the string of rapes.

Then she remembered, that’s no way to respond to a rapist, according to her betters. She helped him to his feet and apologized for her outrageous actions.

Julia proceeded to employ the only approved method, releasing urine and vomit. Shockingly, this didn’t end the attack, but enraged the probable white male more.

He struck her with all his privilege!

Sinking to the ground, she felt the hardness of the ’03 Colt Hammerless strapped to her side. For a fleeting second she reached for the equalizer, but then remembered the moral superiority points she would get by dying, so she did….

I must admit, when you followed “She was hot…” with “The bush was thick…”, I thought you were going to go in a different direction.

She then vomited on her rapist who then fled. The End.

Nobody seems to understand that “ending the string of rapes” means she finalized the creep.

Well, he was shamed by Julia’s obvious moral superiority, so he stopped raping and became Joe Biden….

As she was want to do when a case challenged her, she went for a run. The whole thing did not make sense. Why did the old man care that his son’s name in the leaked database from that website? Where did that old home out on Aurora Avenue come into play? Someone was paying the bills on the place, but it was obvious that no one was living. Was it true what Detective Matson had told her
that this was not a case for a private eye? It was then that little black Ford Focus rounded the corner from her direction and a window rolled down.
