CPAC: Items On The Horizon from Mattera the Online Tax Revolt

At lunch today with Jason Mattera, who took enough time off from afflicting the comfortably elected to write a book

Mattera, the Wizard of OZ

During lunch, we had a visit from Kevin M., with a press release for the Online Tax Revolt, which is purportedly live today. According to the hard copy press release I was given, participants will sign up, get an avatar, possibly have that avatar join a team, and those clumps of people will march on DC for tax day.

In other words, I speculate wildly, this will apparently be some kind of online interactive petition. It could be a fun and lively outing, especially with FaceBook integration. We’ll see. In any case, there will probably be some sort of demonstration on the Mall on Tax Day, so do set aside time for that.

I let my eight and eleven year olds watch Zombieland. The eight year old covered his eyes through about 90% of that movie, but he enthusiastically told a bunch of his friends about it (who were not allowed to see it). That raised his status considerably with them, but surprisingly they all knew every scene and line from that film. And they knew it before my son told them.

Anyway, I prefer my zombies slow and stupid, George Romero style, rather than fast and scary, 28 Days Later style. Zombieland kinda fell about half way inbetween.

What were we taking about again? Oh yeah, Obama Zombies.
