Thanks, Whoopi. I’ve personally never failed to value my mother’s decades of commitment to the vocation of raising well-adjusted children:

On the other hand, rolling over for Hilary Rosen shows a lack of critical thinking. #OccupyResoluteDesk and his lackeys have reached the point where they are guilty until proven innocent, in my mind. That’s a suck-tacular result; we’re raised to offer the benefit of the doubt. That, too is a piece of American Exceptionalism that bears restoration.

Nice Deb rounded up yesterday’s study in ‘Fogress’, and Rush Limbaugh, unexpectedly, falls short of buying the White House story. Further love from a couple more great ladies, Just a Conservative Girl and The Lonely Conservative.

Rosen certainly meant exactly what she said — but Whoopi’s claim she “spoke before she thought” is simply redundant when we’re talking about the progg Left.

When feminists classify motherhood as demeaning, they engage in a form of self-hatred. They’re just one of several special interest groups who choose to carry a boulder-sized chip on their shoulders. Instead of being angry about the Hilary Rosen comment, conservatives should be rejoicing that the libs have exposed themselves for the hateful cretins that they really are.

My mother was a “stay at home mom”, which allowed my siblings and I to have a golden childhood, spent playing outside, instead of cooped up in a daycare center. It was one of the greatest gifts she ever gave to us. Thanks Mom!

The longer this thing rolls on, the more it’s going to be about money, not mommies.
Which is exactly what’s happening — and this is an area where Romney does indeed have an image problem (and his wife is getting one).

Or: I said all along he should go with the “may not be a man of the people, but I try my best to be for the people”.
Meh, his screw up for not jumping aboard that public outreach attempt (and considering his personality, he needs as much viable public outreach as possible)

And that is why it is always a good idea to at least care a little bit about what the left’s game is: Romney = nominee = everybody who supports him is him.
Hmmm, said that before too: they aren’t going to be just out for his hide this year; it’ll be the GOP and the conservative movement…but first they need an appropriate figurehead to attack…
Oh well.

Well then I’m good to go! While I’ll probably vote for him while casting my anti-Obamsky vote I do not support him. A vote for Romney for many, will not be to make Mitt president but to prevent Obamsky from remaining in office. I certainly have no intention of circumscribing my words or actions based on what effect they may have on Romney’s campaign. If it were important for conservatives to support his campaign he should have become one.

Rosen didn’t “speak before thinking” at all – she said exactly what she meant to say. Only a day or so before, Obama said something about “Michelle and I didn’t have the luxury” of her staying home. It’s all part of a planned assault which began with the Fluke fake hearing.

Rosen was merely the first direct attack on Ann Romney, and it was planned to come from a woman. Obama, Carney, and Axlerod trying to distance themselves from her is a joke – Rosen visited the White House 35 times (three times more often than the Secretary of Defense), including five times with face-to-face meetings with Obama, and is a long-time business partner of his former communications director Anita Dunn.

Oh, and somebody better call Biden, because as of yesterday he was still claiming “the Republican War on Women is real!”

Ah, but that is what the Dem machine is going to shoot for nonetheless. I don’t think they want to just take down Romney; they want the whole pie this time (hence all the attempts at polarizing people’s opinions; they’ve been working up to this since ’06).

So the GOP has to get out in front, quit reacting to this and blast them where they need to be blasted at.

This Mommy War bs is just that — bs. They want to open up class warfare, and they are hoping Romney’s campaign will give them a foot in the door.

At least, that’s what I’m seeing.

Feminists, as they call themselves now, are of the left and do not care. The agenda is everything. If “supporting” working moms will work; they will use it — if “supporting” stay at home moms will work; they will use it. They will use everything in every way to advance the cause. They value nothing else; that’s why they are so tricky to fight.

This is divide and conquer operating on many levels; insinuation is the opening gambit. The error is in following a ruse and then being wrong footed by them.

So let them it’s a bit late to get out in front of the left we needed to do that back in the 30’s. They are already waging class war and have been for quite some time, personally I welcome it the sooner everyone is forced to choose the better. The more polarization the better. You write as if it were somehow possible to unite the country or something if we finesse it just right, if we just could get our message out. Nonsense most simply don’t care enough to understand and when the whole show collapses they won’t believe it until it’s too late. On the bright side the left simply can’t win this fight no matter who wins in November or 2016 or 20 we’ve already run out of other people’s money. That’s a concept the left simply can’t grasp.

In my youth there was a saying:
“In thoughtless words are the Heart’s genuine expression”

Why else do you you think that The Lord said we’d be judged on our “idle words”? I’m certain that’s one reason, among many.

When one of my sons was young, there was a way of describing certain types of people. If you weren’t atleast 1 standard deviation from the population’s mean value in poise and comeliness it would be said they were “hit with an Ugly Stick”.

Since it seems true in the case of whoppi ? the evidence is in her demeanor, visual hygine, and looks is obvious to any who’s sat through 40 seconds of her TV show ? is it still in poor taste to say it looks like she walluped herself daily with that Ugly Stick?

oh, I’m so ashamed for “speaking truth to power”…
