Led Zeppelin Won’t Get Fooled Again.?

There is a fine line between clever and stupid.

“I believe you have achieved the tesseract of twisted inside jokes. “

I agree. You’re one of my favorite nerds.

We all have brain farts.  I blame what I did while listening to the Who and Zeppelin in my youth.

The real kicker on that last one is that the Bush campaign in 2000 used Won’t Get Fooled again as its campaign theme song.

Both led by guitar-rock geniuses, first rate drummers, covered blues in early years, singers with long hair.  But The Who hasn’t had to pay off copyright infringement suits on multiple occasions.

The Who was also condemned at the time by all the radicals as “counterrevolutionary” for “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

Voting for Obama/Biden is like ignoring your neutered poodle while he’s humping your dinner guests leg, too embarassed to say “BAD DOG”.

Voting for Obama/Biden is the equivalent of excitedly volunteering for another 4 years as a Constitutional Crash Test Dummy.

There is something neat about knowing something most of the world has no clue about.

It’s hard to like you sometimes, especially when you be hatin’ on Zeppelin.

I’ll pay that fine. How much?

The substantial difference, IMO, is that Jimmy Page was an awesome producer. Note how dated The Who sounds, and how relatively fresh Led Zep sounds in comparison.

    Some weekend election humor…

Incidentally, that pic came from a liberal democrat friend on Facebook, with a caption “Let’s hope they can defeat the evil empire and restore liberty and free markets.” Which is eerily similar to Smitty’s post from yesterday ? #VotingForObamaBiden…

Voting for Obama/Biden is like admitting you have a social disease.
