Logophile bonus: about halfway through, he uses ‘peregrination‘, which is not what you get from the Governor of Texas when he hears a joke.

My wife and I had the pleasure of getting to know Daniel (and his lovely young daughter, Alegra) on the National Review Cruise last November. He is brilliant and eloquent; Sandra wished he could end up as the British Prime Minister some day. (I mentioned that to Daniel, who laughed and said, “No, not likely.”) Thanks for posting this.

For backing a variety of unfashionable causes, nobody thought Winston Churchill could be PM in 1939. Odder things have happened.

You have way too much pun devising your sentences, Admiral.

I’d be willing to amend The Constitution to allow non-natural-Born citizens to be President if he assured us he would run.

His puns are always very point-devise.
