BREAKING: Lying Democrats Lie About Lying Democrat Ad Full of Lying Lies

Posted on | August 8, 2012 | 24 Comments

Really, it’s like Democrats are trying to set a world land speed record for lying or something. No sooner do I update with their latest lies than the Democrats tell another half-dozen lies. Just for the fun of it, I guess. Romney campaign press release:

OBAMA CAMPAIGN CAUGHT LYING
ABOUT DISGRACED AD

“With unemployment at a five-month high and stagnant economic growth, President Obama and his campaign are willing to say and do anything to hide the President’s disappointing record. But they’re not entitled to repeatedly mislead voters. Americans deserve better – they deserve a president who’s willing to run an honest campaign and be honest about his own record.”
Ryan Williams, Romney Campaign Spokesman

Yesterday And Today, Top Obama Campaign Advisers Repeatedly Denied Any Knowledge About The Content In A Disgraced Ad From Obama Allies:

Obama Campaign Senior Adviser Robert Gibbs: “I Certainly Don’t Know The Specifics Of This Man’s Case.” TIME’S MARK HALPERIN: “Robert we all feel bad for that man. It’s a heartfelt testimonial. Do you feel that’s an appropriate injection in this campaign of basically making the accusation that Governor Romney basically caused that woman’s death.” ROBERT GIBBS: “Look, Mark, I think as you said, this is an ad by an entity that’s not controlled by the campaign. I certainly don’t know the specifics of this man’s case” (MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” 8/8/12)

Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter: “I Don’t Know The Facts…” CNN’S JOHN BERMAN: “He’s suggesting she died because of the action that Mitt Romney took. Mitt Romney of course had left Bain years before that Bain took over this company and then his wife died years after. What’s going on? Is that accurate? Is that fair?” CUTTER: “Well John, here are the facts. I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick, or the facts about his health insurance, but here’s what I do know. That Mitt Romney personally handled the deal to take over GS Steel and he personally handled some of the decisions made to load that company up with debt so much that it went underwater. It went bankrupt.” (CNN, 8/8/12)

Obama Campaign Spokesperson Jen Psaki: “We Don’t Have Any Knowledge Of The Story…” PSAKI: “We have no involvement with any ads that are done by Priorities USA, we don’t have any knowledge of the story of the family. And you know campaign finance rules in that regard are in place for a reason.” (CNN’s “The Situation Room,” 8/7/12)

Just Months Ago, The Obama Campaign Hosted A Conference Call And Ran Ads Featuring The Same Story They Claim To Know Nothing About:

“When President Obama’s Aides Said They Weren’t Familiar With Former Missouri Steelworker Joe Soptic’s Life Story, All They Had To Do Was Check Their Own Campaign Archives.” (Reid J. Epstein, “Team Obama Denies Knowing Story Of Man In Its TV Ad, Call,” Politico, 8/8/12)

In May, Cutter Hosted A Conference Call That Featured The Same Subject As The Disgraced Ad. “But Cutter hosted an Obama campaign conference call in May in which Soptic told reporters the very story featured in the Priorities spot.” (Reid J. Epstein, “Team Obama Denies Knowing Story Of Man In Its TV Ad, Call,” Politico, 8/8/12)

“The Former Kansas City Steelworker … Has Appeared In Obama Campaign Videos Before – Despite Claims By A Top Obama Adviser…” “The former Kansas City steelworker featured in a scathing ad tying Mitt Romney to his wife’s death has appeared in Obama campaign videos before – despite claims by a top Obama adviser Wednesday that he doesn’t know ‘the specifics of this man’s case’ amid charges that the ad is inaccurate and misleading.” (“Obama Campaign No Stranger To Steelworker In Disputed Ad,” Fox News, 8/8/12)

Politico Headline: “Team Obama Denies Knowing Story Of Man In Its TV Ad, Call” (Reid J. Epstein, “Team Obama Denies Knowing Story Of Man In Its TV Ad, Call,” Politico, 8/8/12)

Wow.  I’m shocked — shocked! — I tell you!  I had no idea the progressives were a pack of lying psychopaths.

Oh, wait.  Yes I did.  I figured it out back when NOW was more than willing to throw Bill Clinton’s female accusers under the bus…

Who knew NOW’s slogan was “Bros before hos?”

It’s hilarious how McCain pretends to be a reporter and yet has no problem reprinting a press release. Yeah, he’s a real Hunter Thompson — if HST was a lazy hack.

This ad is the most disgraceful and shameful misrepresentation I have ever seen in a political campaign.  But then, we know the Obamabots have no shame, so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised.

OT: For what it’s worth (maybe nothing) commenters over at AOSHQ are saying Portman may have the VP mod.

How can you even call this breaking when Democrats lie like a rug? You know they are lying when you see their lips moving. I think they lie so much they can’t keep it straight anymore.

Going back to Clinton’s “spinmeisters” being allowed to lie and twist every angle without challenge from the press, the Democrats have pushed the envelope to see just how far they can go with their lies before their compliant lap dogs in the press won’t go along.  For nearly 20 years, they’ve found no limit.

As the intellectual father of today’s Democratic Party, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, advised, “Push and probe.  As long as you encounter mush, keep pushing.”

It seems they may have finally crossed the line of lying which even the leftist press will not abide with Reid’s smear on taxes and this horrendous ad – and their lying about it.

We shall see.  But when even an MSNBC panel which would have been approved by the Soviet Politburo balks at defending Reid, we may indeed be near the tipping point.

And make no mistake:  if Democrats are EVER held to account for the truthfulness of their advertising and claims, they are doomed.

lol…yeah, NEWS FLASH!  THE SUN SETS IN THE WEST!   But let’s stop calling them Democrats, shall we?  Because that’s one of the biggest lies of all.  NEWS FLASH!  Communists can’t win elections in this country running as what they are so they have to LIE.  It’s the only thing they’ve got.

Why I am shocked. We might have found an Obama gaffe that actually sticks.

  • PaulLemmen

Keep up the skeer, they’re demoralized as hell!
Kimberlin &Co. scared as rabbits, making amateur mistakes, the DNC so fractured and scared they’ll do anything to win this election! This is the time of danger, the time when patriots rise from the humble and unknown and defeat this bunch of Marxist bastards as only true, patriotic, God-fearing Americans can!

What’s hilarious is that their defeat will come from the REAL Democrats in the party wanting no part of being identified with these Marxist bastards.   Let all the REAL Americans rise up and start purging both parties of the communists in their ranks.

“Liberal caught lying” is the same as “Water is wet”

In other news, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

My whole concept of liberals has been shaken. I need to go lie down.

Just as soon as ObamaCare buys me a new swooning couch.

  • JeffS

Ace posted about a Twitter which points out that two supposedly uncoordinated campaign ads aimed at the same presidential candidate feature Mr. Scoptic ……. wearing the same shirt in both ads.

Maybe he has only one good shirt?  Perhaps he can’t afford pants, which is why he’s sitting down all the time.

No tipping point. These are criticisms on technical points: leaving a trail of evidence, and that Romney, or the RNC, could make a powerful ad that goes something like ‘First they called him a felon. Then a felon who didn’t pay his taxes. Now they call him murderer. What’s next? In the meantime, Are You Better Off with the clown Obama in the White House? Put Obama in the Outhouse’

So – no tipping point. These folks are fully in the tank for Obama.

  • DaveO

These were the same people who not only took down Bubba Clinton, but turned his wife into Obama’s B*tch in 2008.

Did all the wealth they stole in TARP and Stimulus II go up their nose and turn them into paranoid idiots?

No doubt they are all in for Obama.  The tipping point I suggested is the one where they no longer just report the outright, baldfaced lies from Obama without question.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen MSNBC criticize him for anything regarding treatment of any Republican.

The head of the PAC that ran the “independent” ad is Bill Burton, who has been with Obama from the start – I think he was media director last time, and on the payroll as a political pro until leaving to run the Super-PAC.
