If Hillary Can’t Even Handle NPR …

. . . how could she deal with genuinely critical media?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got into a testy exchange with NPR’s Terry Gross on Thursday, as Gross tried to get Clinton to explain her views on marriage equality over time.
Gross attempted to get the former secretary of state to explain whether she had changed her mind over time on the issue of marriage equality or whether she supported marriage equality previously but felt she couldn’t say so due to the popular and political opposition.

She evidently didn’t think of the most obvious answer.

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”

I’m old enough to remember when people touted Hillary Clinton’s faith

. . . how could she deal with genuinely critical media?

Point of Order: The question assumes that anyone in the MSM will be genuinely critical of her, given that she’s most likely the one to be anointed to run in 2016. My guess is the memos have already come down from on high at NPR about broaching uncomfortable topics, i.e. Benghazi, etc.

Left wing craziness aside, are Americans really going to vote in a president who looks like Emperor Palpatine in lipstick?

Hey, to be fair, that Terry Gross is considered one of the meanest interviews in the media…

how could she deal with genuinely critical media?

Think she will ever encounter such a rare creature in the wild?

  • Quartermaster

That was there, but they meant her Methodist “faith” which really didn’t mean much as what Wesley taught is hated by her wing of the UMC.

  • rustypaladin

Actually, yes. You’ll notice that even Obama is more likely to go on Fox News than MSNBC. He knows he’s got the latter’s support but needs to work to persuade the former.

  • Kevin O’Kelley

I agree: Once she gets the nomination the MSM will be solidly behind her and totally committed to destroying her opponent.

Rightly or wrongly (IMO, very much wrongly), in recent years the electorate has taken to choosing its presidents based on likeability. Obama was “cool,” Voters would “rather have a beer with” Bush than Kerry.

Hillary’s problem is that she’s an unlikeable bitch.

That goes for both the right and the left, and Gross’ interview reflected that.

    She’s bossy.

    Denounce away.

Where the hell is she going to run into genuinely critical Media?

She won’t go on Fox. Not even Big O’s Fun With Liberals Hour.

Who is going to criticize the Red Queen?

    “Off with their head.”

And Hillary has the temperament to go with the caricature. (don’t be fooled by the face lift and the laughing poses, she’s still a bitch through and through)

“Now witness the firepower of this fully ARMED and OPERATIONAL battle station! .”

You know she has that dream every night.

Gross always hews lockstep to the current collectivist/progressive line.

This interview merely further evidence that the left never wanted, and still does not want Hilary.

  • Adjoran

Me, too – I didn’t buy it then, either. But then, I learned early on that she was the same Hillary Rodham who was fired by the Democratic-run House Judiciary Committee working to impeach Nixon because of unethical behavior.

When the Democrats can’t abide your ethics, you must be a really bad actor.

  • Adjoran

That superficiality is what comes from 1) federal control of education at all levels for 40 years and 2) 20 years of dumbing down voter registration to make it easy for every disinterested halfwit to register and then hectoring them to vote when they clearly have neither the knowledge or intelligence to do so with due diligence.

  • Adjoran

Gross was persistent, but she was not hostile. And she gave Hillary options, she made it possible to defend either possible answer (always for it or evolved to be for it). It is the fact that Hillary gets hostile when questioned that messed her up.

And it wasn’t enough for her to refuse an answer and hit back, she had to push it until she came off as unreasonable.

Hillary isn’t a good candidate or a good person, and it shows.

“Inevitable” you say? That’s what I heard, too – in 2007.
