Christine O’Donnell ‘Just Got Off the Phone With Senator Cornyn’

Posted on | September 15, 2010 | 27 Comments

DOVER,  Delaware — Christine O’Donnell is standing 20 feet away from me in the lobby of the Fairfield Inn. She says, “I just got off the phone with Senator Cornyn. He said he’s going to give us full support and is going to do media interviews clearing the air.”

Typing this on the lobby computer. What a way to get a scoop, huh?

I still say everybody ought to call the NRSC and tell ’em to eat a big ol’ plate of crow, but that’s just me.

I just got home from the Fire Pelosi Bus Tour kick off.

I asked Steele flat out, and he told me that the RNC will be supporting her.

waste of good crow. I was going to serve something nastier.

The RNC’s word is worthless. Remember how they weren’t going to interfere in the primaries, as long as we weren’t looking?

Now that Christine is seen as opposed to (and by) the GOP establishment, her chances are very much ENHANCED, given the mood of the country and the track record of the previous repubic administration.
Therefore, the repubics are again wrong.
    The Tea Party changes everything.
In two elections cycles, our country will be be transformed for the better.
It is up to GOP to decide if they want to be part of the solution or to remain, more or less, part of the problem.

I dunno. I worry about the NRSC more than I worry about O’Donnell. How sad is that?

Thank God we had George Washington in 1776 and not Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer or we would all be speaking with British accents right now. Their defeatism is truly DESTRUCTIVE, not Palin’s endorsements!

They better support her if they know what’s good for them. Too late to be cynical and cling to old alliances now.

I hope O’Donnell uses some of the new money flowing in to upgrade security . . .

Can someone show me where Cornyn said he wouldn’t supporter her or the NRSC? It seems like an internet rumor went out of control. O’Donnell won at like 1 am. Cornyn called her before his 11 am release, the next day (probably first thing in the work day!), at the NRSC to announce that he was donating the largest amount possible.

What, did Cornyn have to call her a 3 am to make you not lash out at him and post your most recent blog?

Seriously the ultra right is just trying to find something to scream about every damn day, even if it is our own party now!! Good god, we need to unite not start a GOP civil war right now.

Wake up people!! The Tea Party is starting to drink the internet kool aid. They believe anything they read from any keyboard, which is probably a BLUE KEYBOARD to stir this trouble. WAKE UP!
