Nancy Pelosi’s Class-Warfare Rant: ‘We Get the Sacrifice, They Share the Wealth’

Posted on | July 27, 2011 | 25 Comments

San Francisco multi-millionaire populism:

“The budget deficit is an excuse for the Republicans to undermine government plain and simple. They don’t just want to make cuts, they want to destroy. They want to destroy food safety, clean air, clean water, the department of education. They want to destroy your rights. . . .
“[House Speaker John Boehner] has said that between him and the president they have a different vision of America and that’s how come their budget proposals are different. Quite different . . . We get the sacrifice, they share the wealth.”

“We”? We? And “sacrifice”? Sacrifice?

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s net worth skyrocketed 62% last year, to a jaw-dropping $35.2 million, according to financial disclosure forms released [June 15].

What a transparent phony! The great comfort is that she will never — never — be House Speaker again.

Yup. The wicked witch of the west and other statists don’t even try to mask their class warfare rhetoric anymore.

Reading stuff like this makes me spew my Diet Mountain Dew.  I’d like to know what the heck she’s sacrificed, besides the American people to ObummerCare.

Nancy is a motherfrackin thief.  She’s passed out over $200 million in no-bid contracts to companies she and her family have ties to.  Her net increase in wealth pretty much adds up to a 10% commission.

The Democrats in Congress do not care about Obama, the deficit or the American people.  They are simply determined to loot this nation as thoroughly as they can before their house of cards collapses.

The millionaire who relates to the little people.  Her idea of sacrifice is not having a bottle of 1945 Mouton with her lobster…

Yes! Yes! Yes!  Pelosi is back in the spotlight!  I thought that the DNC had placed her in the witness protection program after the 2010 elections.  But she’s back!  The more Pelosi is on TV, the more seats the Dems lose in 2012.

If the liberal MSM are so stupid as to continue to saturate the airwaves with pictures of Obama/Reid/Pelosi, then the Dems will lose the Senate and even more statehouses across the country.

    Go Nancy!

“We get the sacrifice, they share the wealth.”

She’s onto something here.  “They share the wealth” is that 49.2% of households projected to pay zero federal income tax for 2010.  Definitely the 30% that will actually net $ from the IRS.

“We get the sacrifices” – the 50.8% that pay more so the 49.2% can pay zero.

I rarely have time to go back and
analyze the arguments which may be posted in response to my
    statements—because there are so many
far-right-wing-ultra-conservative Internet sites to be read. In
positing the following comment, the only thing I ask is that whether
the assertions be mine or others, divest yourselves of all pejorative
thinking and investigate for yourself to find the truth:

Yes, Pelosi is wealthy, and so are most of our representatives in Congress–John McCain for example.  In effect, unknown to the right-wing (or at least unspoken), this country is run by an aristocracy.

So, is MaDamn Pelosi sending a hefty donation to the Treasury? You know, for the Greater Good??

Whereas I don’t begrudge members of Congress earning a living wage while doing the People’s work, the fantastic wealth they receive was enough to recommend investigation for insider trading by the Feds.

Recently the Department of State uncovered one of its contract-managers sending $52m in contracts to her husband and daughter. Arrested, charged, and all proper. But when Ms. Pelosi or Senator Feinstein influence contracts to go to their spouses – no crime committed.

I’m not sure which is worse: Congresscritters leaning on the many departments and agencies for mutual back scritches, or the allegedly honorable Civil Service folk who offer up money by the dump-truck load in return for legislative favors.

Nancy is the sort of character in a zombie movie that endangers the group and is so despicable, that when she is eaten alive by the zombies you feel good about it.

    But she’s back!

This spelling, while technically correct, fails to express the full ominosity of her back-being-ness. You need to spell it so it sounds like it’s being said by Heather O’Rourke in Poltergeist 2: “She’s baaaaack.”

I’ll have you know that ex-Speaker Pelosi makes painful psychic sacrifices, including of her precious time, to ensure that underprivileged constituencies get their turns at the trough, which is only fair. Pelosi converts her compassion and deep appreciation for social justice into policies and programs that will assist the tax-evading, unfriendly business interests in paying their fair shares of taxes, fees, regulatory fines, bribes, etc.

Ms. Pelosi wishes that she could get off so easily as the greedy Reich wingers – i.e. just make sizable monetary sacrifices and then be done with it. It is her burden in life that she must acquire and safeguard her family’s financial resources, which someday she will devote to The Greater Good.

LOL, except the poltergeist in those movies was relatively harmless. Yeah, the poltergeist kept messing with the cable reception – which, if it were football season, would be unforgiveable – but the poltergeist mainly created minor inconvenieces compared to Nancy the Friendly(-with-Angelo) Ghost.

Somebody from the Tea Party must be reading this blog’s comments and taking a little bit of my advice to heart. They’ve decided to pass Boehner’s Plan. Then it will be up to the Senate to pass it or reject it. More than likely it will end up changed substantially, but at least for now the Tea Party is at least trying to put the onus on the Democrats if we lose our credit rating and things get really screwed up. Good for them. Not quite as good as just giving people a real good demonstration beyond any shadow of a doubt that Democrat policies suck by letting them have their way for the next year and a half, but I guess you can’t expect too much. I just hope what they’re doing now works.
