Althouse Poll: 3-to-1 Against BHO In ’12

Unscientific, but an interesting self-selected reader pool. As of 1400 EST, it looks like he’ll be honorably ousted:
Again, I think we’re looking at an ego so monumental that he’ll pull the plug rather than risk defeat. The question there will be: “Why did Bush engineer the circumstances that forced BHO’s hand?”

“Why did Bush engineer the circumstances that forced BHO’s hand?”

Because some folks just have to live through the consequences of Progressives’ real-world application of their academic theories. The theories always sound nicer than an italian ice at the swimming pool in August. These are the same folks who look at the cluebat known as Greece and blame the TEA Party.

Be interesting to see if Althouse pulls the lever for Obama again next year. She knew better going in, and went for unicorns and skittles anyway.

Wow.  A poll of predominately recovering Obamalcoholics.  DTs, ego, and all.  It’s tough to steady your hand /courage enough, to push that button.  I applaud them and welcome our former betters/overlords.  Welcome to the party, pal!

I think he’s so divorced from reality he won’t throw in the towel no matter how bad his internal polling gets.  Honestly what would we rather have an 11th hour “I will not seek my parties nomination” speech or the election being called for the republican before the polls in California close?

Fairly certain she won’t, but, [sexist joke goes here].

I think Obama loves BEING President for all the freebies and pomp and circumstance and respect and privilege it brings, but he hates DOING the job itself, probably because he is incapable of even understanding what he should be doing.  This is why we shouldn’t elect people without a solid and successful background in managing a large operation.   Also why we should never elect leftists.  Only 22% of Presidential appointees have had any experience in the private sector – the rest have spent their lives in government and/or academia.

But the ignorance and delusions that go with being a leftist without any knowledge or experience mean Obama probably doesn’t get why his several “pivots to jobs” haven’t resulted in a reversal of fortunes.  He really believes that because the recession technically ended the economy is doing well on his watch, and all the anti-business regulations and taxes and mandates and rhetoric have no effect.

He won’t quit.  He doesn’t believe he can lose.  He thinks he is doing a great job.  The mirror tells him so several times per day.

I wouldn’t over estimate the intelligence of this electorate. I can well remember the left whining about Nixon’s re-election, “I don’t know a single person that voted for him.” Noxon really wasn’t near as bad as he is made out to be, even by a number of so-called conservatives, but for the left he bore the dreaded “R” after his name, and that was enough to make him eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil.

Another data point is the election of 1936.  FDR was in a bigger hole than Obama is now, and FDR won. Obama’s trip home is not a foregone conclusion.
