Greta Scooped Me, But That’s OK

Posted on | November 14, 2011 | 19 Comments

Greta Van Sustern’s exclusive interview with Gloria Cain is, on the one hand, great news for the Cain campaign, but on the other hand, an indication that Cain’s campaign team views TheOtherMcCain.com as less influential than Greta.

Months of Cain coverage did not earn me that scoop? I’m hurt.

But I understand: If I’m not good enough for BlogCon . . .

Never mind that now, though. The damage is done, and I have a duty to my readers, so I must overcome the humiliation of being scooped, suck it up and report the second-hand news:

Mrs. Cain strongly defends her husband against the allegations of sexual harassment.
“You hear the graphic allegations and we know that would have been something that’s totally disrespectful of her as a woman. And I know the type of person he is. He totally respects women.”
“I’m thinking he would have to have a split personality to do the things that were said,” according to Mrs. Cain.

I’d like to provide you with an advanced transcript of tonight’s interview, or photos or something, but Team Cain is probably busy supplying that kind of exclusive stuff to really important blogs.  But here’s something — a poll at Greta Wire asks, “Who in the list below is most likely to get endorsed by Governor Sarah Palin?” The results as of 10 a.m. today:

You should go vote right now.

Remember: Sarah Palin endorsed Doug Hoffman; Newt endorsed Dede. So the idea that Palin would endorse Newt — who went on Fox News again and again in October 2009 trying to counteract Palin’s influence — seems wildly improbable to me. Newt was an Active Agent of Evil in NY-23. It was not until after Dede quit and endorsed the Democrat that Newt expressed even the mildest regret for his constant shilling for that vicious backstabbing RINO crapweasel.

Interesting new Esquire article coming out on Newt.  Looks like my prediction was true: he will ALWAYS let you down.

Oh,and another fun poll after you vote at Greta’s: http://tinyurl.com/7m777yd

There’s only one candidate who will force feed a corrupt Washington DC, end the Debt, end the Fed Res (with detailed plans) and increase jobs and business 200 times over! JL MEALER (Yes, that’s me)…

Please read the no sound-bite plans (if you get glassy eyed, shake it off and keep reading) this is important stuff in a critical time.

We have the dirt on every candidate, so if it went third party (Constitution Party or Independent) vs Dems-Repubs…. We still win.

Stacy, it could be your animal macho magnatism is just too intense for this issue.  Tabitha Hale could not handle it, you gave her the vapors (a dangerous thing at elevations over 5000 feet).  The Cain campaign has to stay away from your intense male mojo (could skewer the women’s vote).

    I am sure you understand.

Perhaps. Some people feel threatened. Some people feel envious. Is it my problem that they are incapable of feeling what they should feel, i.e., an overwhelming sense of awestruck reverence?

I’ve been wrongly accused of many things, but am seldom accused of excessive modesty.

You have to accept that sometimes an attack is really a complement.

Given the choices, Herman Cain would seem the most logical pick for a Palin endorsement. Wouldn’t that send the lib gals, and even a few stupid conservative ones who believe the Bialek farce, into a tailspin. But that also assumes that she wouldn’t throw her support behind Santorum. After all, he’s been practically on his knees, begging for her endorsement.

I also found this story about Gloria Allred’s press conference with a supposed witness to the Bialek account, scheduled for this afternoon. Never put it past the old hagfish to rely on hearsay when she finds it beneficial. I find the timing interesting, considering Mrs. Cain’s interview airs tonight.

P.S. I also found this little nugget. Apparently Allred needs some publicity for her crappy court show.

Well that explains what Aildred gets out of taking a client that has no case and a short shelf life.

Probably Tabitha Hale throwing her weight around.  Is she gaining weight?

“vicious backstabbing RINO crapweasel” – as in someone who would desert the Republican Party in its hour of need, like voting for Bob Barr?

Damn. All this sexual harassment crap, and now he may get endorsed by Palin? Cain can’t seem to catch a break.

Has Palin ever said anything complimentary about Cain? Other than the “flavor of the month” quote, has she discussed him at all?

She did say nice things about Newt, and her only knock on his chances for the nomination was how he is doing in the money game.

Herman is toast.  But, that’s OK.  Vanuatu is highly overrated anyway.  Unless you’re really crazy about cocoanuts.

Sorry to be off topic, but Drudge had this headline as Newt on Top.  Well Newt is not on top, he is second after Cain.  And the big news is Romney is third and five to six points behind Cain and Gingrich.
