Soldier’s Angels: Anybody Want To Get Wrecked In A Game Of Cribbage?

Soldier’s Angels is a fine charity. Since I’m not traipsing about the Hindu Kush, dressed like a modern centurion, sweating my hoo-hah off this year, it seems like time to get with the program.

This blog would like to do something outlandish, unusual, and totally Navy. I will crush all comers with a ferocity that would make Conan the Barbarian look like he’s gearing up for Bronycon by comparison. Here’s how the challenge works:

Stand by to get beat. In particular, I’d like to call out that noxious knuckle-dragger, The Troglopundit. That guy just ain’t packin’ the gear.

Ah you Navy guys don’t know nothing about cribbin’ nor Ace-Duecy either. (That’s backgammon to you landlubbers out there.)

Double deck, no pass? I was the ringleader of a group known as “The ‘Nochleheads” back in school.
    Bring it.

Hahaha…. My dad tried to teach me Pinnocle but I didn’t get it.  it was his troop ship game of choice. He also taught me to play cribbage. I did a little better with that. Last time I played, it was against an old Navy 3 war vet who carried a special cribbage board and cards. He’d give you some competition! I’d play you but can’t afford it… Thanks!!      And you play a mean game of Hearts. Lord I know. It’s the raised-pinkie version of Spades – what real Sailors play in their time away from their Officer’s tasks.

If I can keep the damn games plugin from crashing, I’d be pleased to play you.

I was going to go for this but game.com sucks, couldn’t get the game to work.  Sorry, guess I’ll hang on to my money not that I thought for one minute that I’d lose any of it.
