‘Repeal Equals Death’

Posted on | August 10, 2012 | 18 Comments

Top Romney adviser Eric Ferhnstrom said, “I don’t think a world champion limbo dancer could get any lower than the Obama campaign right now.” The problem with such a statement is that, just when you think they can’t go any lower, liberals always manage to surprise you, as when Jonathan Alter went on MSNBC and declared that Republicans want people to die:

“[W]hat the press should be focused on is what are the consequences of repeal of Obamacare. And the consequences, as Mike just indicated, are death. Repeal equals death. … People will die in the United States if Obamacare is repealed. That is not an exaggeration, that is not crying fire, it is a simple fact. If you have preexisting conditions and you are thrown off of health insurance or if you get sick after you and your husband, spouse, loses the job, you are not going to do to the doctor as soon, your cancer or disease is not going to be caught as quickly and your odds of dying are much, much increased.”

I’ve got news for you. YOU ARE GOING TO DIE! It’s already preordained.  And Obamacare isn’t going to save you from it.

Can you Smell the desperation. ObamaTax & Pals are freaking out. Hey, if 4 years of failure is not enough, the Idealogue-in-Chief wants 4 more years to make sure you don’t indite him for his High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

How do you even begin to deal with the blind partisanship here?

Just one little fact check would tell you we have had COBRA for well over 20 years, probably a lot longer.

What these clowns are really saying is that you are too stupid to be in charge of your own healthcare, and they’re going to prove it by making up bald-faced lies…sigh…

@rsmccain I get it! ObamaCare = immortality, of a bureaucratic sort. The rest of us might drop the first ‘t’ in that equation, but that’s only because we’re not written in Obama’s Book of Life.

I love they way they ignore that 30 million americans won’t have health insurance under Øcare, almost as many as now, just that to insure folks who don’t have insurance now, some folks who have it now will have to give it up for the greater good.  Or something like that.

These people make my head hurt, their idiocy and/or evil is so great.

Just curious… isn’t there a way to catch cancer early?  You know, tests like mammograms, prostate exams, etc.?  And aren’t we being told by the government — after decades of different advice — that we really don’t need so many of those tests?

Yeah, it’s repealing Obamacare that’ll cause people to die.  Forget what I said about needing plenty of tests.  After all, nanny  government says that the danger of false-positive tests is far worse to our poor wittle psyches than, you know, actually detecting cancer early so it can be effectively and cheaply treated….

And yet, if you have a pre-existing condition, the Government’s Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) will declare your condition too expensive to treat, and you will die when you could have lived in a free market health care system.

Or, if you run the risk of breast cancer, prostate cancer, or have a cardiovascular system problem, the tests that detect the cancer/issue have already been declared too expensive and you will die when you could have lived in a free market health care system.

Is it just me, or is it pretty damned ironic that several hundred thousand people from across the globe immigrate legally and illegally just for American free market health care, as the IPAB in their countries only work with payola.

Alter’s best bet is to be seen by a socialist health care system. Humanity would better off.

You want to see health care that kills?  Look what the Federal Govt is already doing on the Native American reservations.  Hint: Don’t get sick after June.

Aha!  I’ve argued for years that Alter is merely a fool who can write clearly.  Now he proves me right.

Where does he think the magic tree is that grows all the money to pay for this bureaucratic nightmare of tyranny and death?

The truth is that socialists just don’t care.  Their supposed “compassion” is just like bait on a hook; their only goal is power and its ruthless and exclusive exercise.

I don’t think Romney should hold his breath waiting for the Obama & DNC to pull inaccurate ads. Obama can’t run on his record & can only run on lies about himself & his opponent.
