Ed Markey’s ‘Legitimate Rape’ Moment?

Posted on | February 21, 2013 | 13 Comments

Washington Free Beacon:

Rep. Ed Markey (D., Mass.), who is running to replace recently appointed Secretary of State John Kerry in the Senate, compared the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision to the 1858 decision to uphold slavery, according to BuzzFeed.
Markey made reference to the Koch brothers and Karl Rove spending undisclosed amounts of money before saying, “The constitution must be amended. The Dred Scott decision had to be repealed, we have to repeal Citizens United.”
BuzzFeed notes Markey has accepted more than $2.5 million from business, labor, and ideological PACs since 1989, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Will anyone hold Markey accountable for his hypocrisy and his offensively reckless language? He’s a Democrat. It’s Massachusetts. Which is to say, not bloody likely.

Citizens United will never be defeated! That would make a great protest chant. Just saying.

Democrats are Pro-Rape. Democrats tell the women of Massachussetts (and all other Blue States) to ‘Lay Back and Enjoy It’ and the women will still vote in droves for Pro-Rape candidates.

As long as their rapists will let them get an abortion, they don’t seem to have a problem with it.

Forwarded this to Rob Eno of Red Mass Group…he likes to take some pot shots at Ed “Cap and Tax” Mahhhkey.

By the way, Mr. Combover, (who actually lives in Maryland, but “what difference does it make?”), tweeted earlier today that he considered it “great news” that he received the Daily Kos endorsement. Only a progressive loon would be proud of that one.

As Hank Hill says about his son Bobby: “That boy ain’t right.”

The women’s organizations of the left have been handing women over to sexual predators since their inception. Kennedy, Packwood, Dodd, Clinton, Menendez… as long as you say the right thing on the floor, the feminists have your back… even against their own sisters.

AFAIK all Packwood did was kiss the girls and make them cry – but then, he was a Republican.

Surely you’ve been around long enough to understand that when Democrats say such things it is “taken out of context,” “to make a point,” or “satire.”

Damn. I was hoping for “Free Bacon.”

Maybe I skimmed the article a little too lightly.

The double entendre will be missed by most.

Congressman Jerry Studs, Democrat, mASS. had gay sex on the steps of the Capitol building with an underage Congressional Page and after being found out was still be re-elected AND Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo Kopechne and was re-elected. Massachusetts voters are the least discriminating voters probably in the world, with the understanding that discrimination can also be a good thing. So, what Markey did will probably be to his benefit.

And Bwarney Fwrank lived with a male prostitute who ran his business out of Bwarney’s apartment.

    [BTW: It’s ‘Gerry’ Studds]
