Even Cthulhu Needs A Change Of Laundry At The Thought Of Clinton/Obama 2016

As an act of terror designed to stimulate conservatives into action, it’s hard to exceed this goad:

Hillary Clinton hasn’t stepped into the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries yet and there’s already buzz growing for the ultimate grrl power ticket: Clinton and first lady Michelle Obama.
“All due respect for President Obama and Vice President Biden, but that would truly be a dream team for America,” said former Clinton spokeswoman Karen Finney. “Both women are proven effective leaders who’ve raise children, so dealing with Congress would be a snap!” added Finney, also a former Democratic Party spokeswoman.
“More than anything else, this reflects the growing awareness that it is time for the glass ceiling of the last old boys club to be firmly shattered,” added Democratic strategist Chris Lehane.

Well, at least the GOP elite can be relied upon to kneecap all of the female conservative talent, e.g. Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin.

The standard disclaimers apply:

  • Hillary would have to outrun Benghazi
  • Michelle would have to outrun her husband’s record.
  • Both of them would have to outrun our economic collapse.
  • 2014 is two very, very significant years prior to 2016.

2012 was a blessing in disguise for the Republicans. Now, I’m not a fan of “winning by losing,” necessarily, but Barack Obama and the Democrats will be holding the bag when ObamaCare crashes the economy next year. (Did anyone see that pile of regulations? Is it true that the CBO is now scoring the thing as an almost $7 trillion money-sink? ObamaCare will also cover less than half of the people that it was billed as covering, and it’s entirely possible that we could end up with fewer insured Americans after the debacle hits.)

Most Americans think that a socialist land is just like America, but with a nice safety net. They are fast finding out otherwise.

Oh, yeah, and November 2014 – January 2017 = Obama’s lame duck term. Oh, yeah, like Americans are really gonna love him after that.

What? Who wrote this, Smitty? Aha, no way, this site has been hacked, folks! All True Christians know a woman is not fit for the presidency. Just ask all the True Christians in Iowa.

Apply the Deborah and Barak test. Ideally, you want a guy in charge, but if all the guys are such a pack of gutless wusses or otherwise useless, then its time for the strong women to pitch in.

Now to what degree is uncertain.

Or somewhat similar in modern days….Maggie Thatcher. I read her ‘Downing Street Years’ (good book), and at one point she talks of her cabinet….All I wanted was twelve men, good, and strong, and true. I rarely got it.

Or read the occasional Instapundit lament about how we have an astonishingly terrible rulingclass these days.

I voted for Sarah and the Other Guy Whose Name I Can’t Recall.

    I’ll see their Hillary/Michelle ticket and raise them a Condi/Sarah or a Sarah/Liz ticket.

The bummer about Liz Cheney and Condi Rice is they’ve no elective office experience.

Valid point, but then again neither did Herman Cain.

The Republicans will run Jeb Bush against these two commie-harridans. And our conservative and libertarian purists will vote for Gary Johnson or sit out the election. And we will have Her Filthiness as president.
Thanks, Reason Magazine editors, for Ogabe today and Shrillary in 2016!

Very possibly true. Which is why the RINOS ought to get a clue, and in this hypothetical they ought to put up someone Seriously Conservative.

And Miss Rice is not a conservative. And Mrs. Cheney is too inside.

What made mine go off was the realization that, in this upside-down world, this is quite possible.
