The meltdown of the #FreeKate victimhood narrative evidently has shrunk the #FreeKate movement down to a hard core of irrational fanatics, among them Rebekah Becky Majors-Manley. News that a local gay-rights group was not supporting accused sex offender Kaitlyn Hunt inspired this Facebook rant from Majors-Manley:




You noticed, I’m sure, that at some point Majors-Manley’s argument ceased to be about Kaitlyn Hunt and instead became a story about how much Majors-Manley blames her parents for ruining her life.

Are we surprised that supporters of Kaitlyn Hunt, who consider a sex offender to be a heroic figure, are not mentally stable people?

And are we surprised that Obama got re-elected?

  5. She’s emotionally stunted, she can’t mature emotionally, it may be genetic, and no amount of counseling will make a difference. These people generally learn to cope, but they are socially awkward. A person can develop their mental acuity, and still remain extremely immature. It looks like this is the case with her, and she’s latched onto this Free Kate nonsense, because it’s triggered her own unresolved crisis during her own puberty. Her employers do need to understand they are risking legal liability by having her in their employ. She’s has already crossed a professional line by identifying the victim a “minor” of child sexual molestation.

  7. She is also extremely hostile to Christians and prayer. As a person who has been in the hospital and who has priests visiting me to give me unction and Holy Communion I would not want this person near me. Who knows what kind of mistakes she could make just unconsciously. The thought is very disturbing

I got reported on facebook and banned for 12 hours because I said that supporting a statutory rapist does the gay community no favors and actually gives real homophobes ammunition. Apparently facebook counted that as hate speech. And the guy who reported me? He was on the same thread calling everyone homophobes and Christians scum..

    BTW if you have a bumper sticker that says “Mumia is a cop killer, give him the needle” your frequency of getting traffic tickets goes way way down. But you may not want to park your car where liberal congregate because they will key you (they are too passive aggressive to confront you, they just wait till you leave).

  21. Most people don’t realize that for the last 20 years or so of his incarceration, ALL he had to do was renounce violence to get out. He could have walked out any day.

    The article speaks to the school limiting graduation tickets due to the possibility of anti-Kate protests. I’d wager it has more to do with the #FreeKate barking moonbats showing up en masse to show their support for their latest-and-greatest, homosexual poster child.

    I’m just gonna be grateful my kiddo didn’t have her graduation ceremony sullied by the likes of the #FreeKate mob. How unfortunate for the students who opted not to sexually assault a minor during their senior year of high school.

  31. Mandela’s incarceration was righteous. He was a terrorist and was caught with a rather large cache of explosives, among other materials. Mandela was no angel, and he knew he was a living martyr. As Adjoran points out, he could have walked, but refused. He refused because he was a terrorist and a renunciation would have been tantamount to an admission of that fact. He consistently claimed he was not, but the facts tell a far different story.

    Now that the ANC runs SA, we are seeing the place fall apart. A retired woman attends my church part of the year, and lives the rest in SA. She would come an stay, but she can’t get her family out and to the US. Seems they have the wrong skin color.

  32. Regardless of which side Mandela was on, he did the time for his cause. That much shows some courage. Was he a commie troublemaker? Sure. But a brave one.

  34. Given that the most publicity that’s come forth is from the #FreeKate people with virtually nothing other than one interview with the victim’s parents, I’d say the safe money is on the former disrupting the graduation ceremony.
    As for Ms. MM, I looked at her new comments mentioned above. It’s truly fascinating that the only motive she can imagine on the part of the victim’s family is one of “hurting” the perpetrator. The thought that they might wish to be, you know, parents doesn’t factor into the discussion. I must confess, I thought the lady was just a garden variety left-wing loon. I now thing there’s some seriously dangerous pathology going on in that head of hers.

  35. I gotta agree with ya, RS. While reading through her rants at the above-posted link, I, too, considered there is something pretty deranged about this woman.

    I hope the victim’s parents have grown eyes in the back of their heads. This kook taking one for the team wouldn’t be all too surprising. She sure has gone out of her way to spew venom in the direction of the Smith family. If/when Saint Kate is convicted, this loon may very well experience a complete meltdown.

  46. I don’t think I missed your point. If you are saying that Mandela is scum and the current cop is not as scummy, I don’t agree. I would agree Mandela is scum, but scum are scummy in their own way, but Mandela was the lowest sort. He was caught, but wouldn’t stand up and claim it with pride. Kinda like Che, who was a coward. Mandela proclaimed his innocence from the beginning. He should have been executed, frankly. The current bunch is equally gallows bait who are in it for themselves. SA and SA blacks are actually worse off than they were under apartheid. They can thank the scum Mandela, and the current crop who can’t administer anything.

    And, yes. you were glorifying Mandela.

  47. There is a method of misinterpretation called isogesis which involves the interpreter reading his own ideas into a text. Nothing I have written “glorifies” Nelson Mandela. However, by pointing out that the current crop of Progressive wannabes are less substantial that someone they might count as a hero, I leave it to the careful reader to conclude that they are of a losser order than Mandela.

    As to the current state of South Africa, the Boer mismanagement for almost a century set up the country to fail under the ill prepared and corrupt thugs who are now in charge.
