Police: Texas High School Girl Pimped Out Her Friends as Young as 14

Authorities have charged a League City student with soliciting her “easily manipulated” friends into prostitution. The girls performed sexual acts on a 62-year-old business owner from Friendswood, police said.
Webster police charged Chelsey Elizabeth Taylor, 17, with one felony count of compelling prostitution in connection with the three child sexual assault cases against Michael Wayne McIntosh, Galveston County Assistant District Attorney Adam Poole said.
Taylor is accused of driving girls as young as 14 to McIntosh’s Friendswood home in the 600 block of Idlewood Drive between June and October. McIntosh is accused of paying the girls more than $3,600, and Webster police detective David Nettles claims Taylor took a cut of the cash, court documents reveal.

And the “Free Kate” freaks will say: “But it was consensual!”

    It is one of those train wreck things though.

  3. As I say, in context of the “Free Kate” argument — i.e., anything is OK for anyone, as long as it is consensual — this is highly relevant as to the state of the culture.

    However, just because Michael Wayne McIntosh likes sex with underage girls, you shouldn’t call him a “pedophile,” or he might sue for $1 million.

In addition to “consensual,” you forget the following justifications for pimping: (1) it was only a 3 year age difference between the pimp and the girls, (2) they went to the same high school, (3) it is worse to publicize this than for little girls to be raped, oh, excuse me, “explore their sexuality.” Now, excuse me while I go throw up.

  7. What difference does it make these days? We all know that 14 year old girls can consent, in that we practically expect them to say yes to 16 year old boys, and it’s only our white heteropatriarchal discrimination that says that that’s wrong, or that, if they can consent with a 16 year old, they still can’t with a 62 year old.

    Thing is, having been sexually active is no longer something that hurts a girl’s reputation, but enhances it. And hey, if she’s already blown 13 guys at school, for free, why not let her make a few hundred bucks doing the same thing to an older guy.

    I’m curious about the use of the word “compel”. Is that just a way the law in Texas refers to what would normally be called soliciting, or was some kind of force or threat of force used in these events?

  12. Of course, a big problem is that the total paid out was supposedly $3,600, and the linked news article says that “Police think there are 15 other girls involved.” $3,600 ÷ 16 = $225. Those chicks are getting way underpaid!

  18. Hmm, I guess that means that the minor charged with compelling prostitution is being charged as an adult, but the other minors are being treated as minors.

  20. Maybe not yet, but I think you may have missed the point of our esteemed host’s post, which is that fact that the morals in our society have changed so much that a 17 year old girl could manage to recruit as many as 15 other high schoolers into doing this stuff.
