Unspeakable Evil: Planned Parenthood Obstructs Child Rape Investigation

When I first heard this, I couldn’t believe it, but it’s true. Last year, a 31-year-old illegal immigrant named Luis Gonzalez-Jose raped an 11-year-old girl who became pregnant. The man took the girl to a Planned Parenthood clinic where he pretended to be her father and told the staff the girl had been impregnated by her 14-year-old boyfriend.

The clinic performed the abortion and when the police began investigating the rape, the clinic refused to cooperate with the detective, insisting that he get a court order. This is insane.

Furthermore, the girl’s family refused to cooperate with prosecutors and, as the result of a plea bargain, the monster who raped this little girl will serve only six years in prison. Words fail.

  1. I don’t understand how you can be without words.

While 99% of self proclaimed pro-lifers actually do nothing to stop abortion other than talk how pro-life they are, I don’t know what words you expected to mystically materialize in your brain.

The American populace believes the sum total of being pro-life is putting a bumper sticker on a car, participating in a baby bottle fundraising drive one time, and maybe even attending a prayer vigil for the unborn.

Sadly, that does almost nothing to end abortion.

The reason that America is the global capital of abortion and legalized child killing has continued unabated for the past 41 years is because of the pro-life movement itself.

In America, most people believe one of two thing:

Being pro-life is merely an adjective or that starting a pro-life organization is a great way to raise money and employ a lot of your friends and family.

If you don’t believe me, just go to Guidestar and look up the top 10 “pro-life” organizations in America.

Eric Hoffer says it best, “Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.”

Abortion will end in America when Americans recognize it for what it is. Legalized child murder that consists of child sacrifice to the God of convenience.

Quite. Laws designed to protect “women” are now routinely used to hide child abuse and rape. I note from the article you cite, the abortionist contacted police though and preserved evidence for them. I’ll wager that goes against national PP policy, if we recall the various O’Keefe PP videos.

  3. While 99% of self proclaimed pro-lifers actually do nothing to stop abortion other than talk how pro-life they are . . .

So, beyond engaging in debate –a debate which has no effect given that SCOTUS has removed the question from the political arena, supporting adoption alternatives, and prayer for the salvation of our nation, what do you propose be done precisely? You seem to be long on criticism but short on concrete action the readers of this blog–most of whom agree with your last paragraph– are supposed to take. It’s easy to criticize the actions of others when you have none yourself.

  4. Um, why is this surprising?

Planned Parenthood routinely covers up statutory rape that the law says they have to report.

  5. Oh, and given the O’Keefe videos and your own work, we should take it as a given that leftists in positions of power are supportive of child sex slavery.

  6. Abortion will end in America when Americans recognize it for what it is. Legalized child murder that consists of child sacrifice to the God of convenience.

I agree with you that is what it will take. So how do you propose getting most Americans to agree with you (to the point of ending it)?

  7. Actually, the part of this case which seems to surprise people, that Planned Parenthood insisted on a court order to comply with the detective, doesn’t surprise me. Though the law stated that the sheriff had a right to those records, PP was probably complying with laws concerning patient privacy. Since this was not a time-urgent or time sensitive situation, I don’t have much of a problem with that.

The rapist will serve six years in prison, certainly not enough, and will then be deported, with an order to never re-enter the country. If he violates that order, and gets caught, he can be thrown in prison. Since the girl’s family would not cooperate, that’s probably the best we could hope to get. Perhaps Mr Gonzalez-Jose will get to learn, first hand, what it is like to be a rape victim during the next six years.

Yeah, I know: I’m not supposed to hope something like that happens, but . . . .

  8. PP was probably complying with laws concerning patient privacy.

I believe you are correct. HIPAA requirements are deliberately confusing when it comes to law enforcement access. I’m aware of many medical care providers in my jurisdiction who move to quash law enforcement subpoenas because of HIPAA, in order to get a court order requiring them to release records. A court order, easily obtained by prosecutors, solves a lot of problems and takes the provider off the hook for civil damages for HIPAA violations.

(I trust it’s apparent from my prior comments, I personally do not believe abortion is “medical care.” I note only the law as it exists and how it is applied in my jurisdiction.)

  9. Planned Parenthood did report the rape. They contacted child protective services, based on the story given the clinic about the 14 yo boyfriend. They also preserved evidence and provided it to authorities. The court order was appropriate to hand over the medical records.

The failure to demand documentation of the true relationship of the purported “father” to the girl is a travesty, but probably did not change the outcome of the criminal case – or, for that matter, the girl’s pregnancy, given her age and the situation.

  10. To my dear Hairyness,

I am grateful for your question, and hope I don’t receive the Wombat’s hammer for my lengthy response.

First and foremost, we most humanize pre-born babies to our children at the earliest of ages.

EHD.org has the global leaders in fetology and their information is provided in an family friendly way.

The sodomites want to begin teaching preschoolers about the joys and wonder of the homosexual lifestyle, so why wouldn’t people of faith want to begin sharing their biblical view regarding the sanctity of human life at the same age.

Have you ever read, “The Miracle of Me”

Fabulous children’s book that reinforces how God makes each and everyone of us in the wombs of our mothers.

Are you familiar with the Huntsville Respect Life Curriculum?

    http://cpforlife.org/curriculum.htm

It provides yearly lesson plans from kindergarten to 12th grade that is a fantastic resource for teaching young people to respect life.

Middle schools and high schools have an endless number of student clubs and organizations. Why are we not helping organize pro-life clubs for students from 6th through 12th grade.

We need to be willing to allow unwed pregnant teens to come live in our homes to help them in their time of need when they are abandoned by their families and their sperm donors.

Churches must teach that abortion is a mortal sin. It has to be talked about from the pulpit. Do you know my good friend Rolley Haggard? He writes for BreakPoint.org.

If my math is correct, and the most recent gallup poll is correct, the pro-life movement could be receiving over $128 billion dollars a year if the people who claim to be pro-life would just give up one Starbucks drink per week and donate that money towards the sanctity of human life.

Actually, we have known how to end the American abortion holocaust for over 125 years. All we have to do have is follow the good works of Antoine Bezenet and William Wilberforce. And yes, graphic images are part of that strategy.

America will not reject abortion until America sees abortion. Father Frank Pavone.

Gregg Cunningham with the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform and Russel Hunter with Abolish Human Abortion get it. They both understand the social change that is necessary in order to end abortion.

Remember, crisis pregnancy centers, sidewalk counseling, maternity homes, job skills training centers for expecting mothers, and abstinence/chastity education does nothing to end abortion. Those things, praise be to God, save babies.

When America treats abortion for what it is, the brutal torture and dismemberment of an image bearer of God, then people will begin working to end the worst stain on the soul of our nation.
