Documents Prove Kaitlyn Hunt Lied; Knew Sex With 14-Year-Old Was Illegal

Florida sex offender Kaitlyn Hunt, whose case became a cause for many gay rights activists this year, was aware that her affair with a 14-year-old was illegal, documents obtained from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office show.
“Yes, I know I’m 18 and can get in trouble,” Hunt said in an online conversation more than a month before her February arrest, “but I understand the consequences and I know what I got myself into when I entered the relationship with [the underage girl].”
Hunt, who last month pleaded no contest to multiple felony charges in the case, has claimed in media interviews that she did not realize her involvement with the minor was a crime in Florida, where the legal age of consent is 16. “I wouldn’t have continued, if I really knew what the laws were and if I knew what I was getting myself into,” Hunt told ABC’s Matt Gutman in an interview broadcast on the network’s 20/20 program. . . .

    This is not about trying to get people to stop “loving and supporting” Kaitlyn, it’s about preserving the right of parents to raise their own children without the intervention of outsiders. If you had your way, the victim’s parents would’ve had no legal recourse to punish Kate for what she herself admitted was wrong. As long as you people continue that fight, people like Jeanette, Stacy, Matt and I will oppose you.

    If you really, really cared about your readers, you would post some kind of warning, or send out some kind of email blast, or set something on fire on national television, or SOMETHING that would give us fair warning that you’re going to post something that will bring out the “You people are evil for opposing the finger-banging of a 14 year-old girl in a school bathroom!” trolls and/or the “You are all hateful bigoted trash but I still pray for you!” trolls. I’ve apparently already missed a couple of them; all I have left is Lisa praying for me and occasionally getting her caps lock stuck.

    Robert, if you ran the campgrounds, and you knew the circus was coming to town, you would at least put up some fliers or something, right? I didn’t find out about it until they were already folding up the tents: sure, I got to see the bearded lady, but missed the dancing monkeys.

Kaitlyn Hunt needs strong and morally-grounded persons in her inner circle that are determined to speak the truth about her misguided shenanigans, and assist her in living a life of honor, integrity, empathy, and respect… respect for the law, respect for herself, and respect for boundaries and the lives of others.

    For example: In 1982, long before the movement to legalize gay marriage picked up steam, there was the movement for its precursor, domestic partnership registration. The prime mover of the drive to make all S.F. businesses that offered benefits to married employees do the same for employees who registered as “domestic partners” (regardless of “orientation”) was S.F. Human Rights Commission member Larry Brinkin.

    Thirty years later, Google “Larry Brinkin” and see what he’s been up to.

I’m not going to argue arbitrary age of consent laws with you because it’s pointless and you will not change my mind nor will I change yours, but needless to say I don’t classify a relationship between a 14 year old and an 18 year old who went to the same high school as child molestation.     With that being said, this blog, and especially Runyon who obviously has severe mental problems, have beat this story into the ground. Hunt is in jail, she has house arrest when this is done, and then probation. Leave it alone. And I doubt very much that if this story was about an 18 year old male with a 14 year old female anyone would still be harping on it which leads me to believe that the impetus for continuing to run with this is the homosexuality issue which Runyon vehemently opposes(especially gay marriage)to a pathological degree.

And Runyon was busted for child trafficking.

Her affidavit states she knowingly lied to authorities about her relationship to the infant and didn’t want to be hassled with the legal procedure for adopting an child, probably because she has prior arrests. She’s the typical self righteous religious, puritanical nutbag with her own closet full of misdeeds. History is full of them.
