    The political correctness of MSNBC is blindingly clear here. Baldwin shouts a fairly common insult, on the street, that could be taken as a gay slur, and he loses his job. Martin Bashir says unspeakably vile things, on the air, against Sarah Palin, and he doesn’t even receive a slap on the wrist. If Bashir had insulted gays rather than a conservative woman, would he still have a job?

    I thought Black and Muslim trumped gay? Most “Black” churches preach against homosexuality but nobody says anything (Barack Obama’s get out the vote effort is one of the primary reasons Prop 8 went so poorly for gays in California) and I’ve never heard of GLAAD protesting the Iranian embasy for their treatment of gays.

    Years ago, a restaurant where I live used to make something called faggots. They were a combination of liver and hearts made into a pattie. They never appealed to me but they were quite popular around here. I never hear about them anymore so I suppose the restaurant, and maybe the owners, are long gone.
