A Michigan couple convicted of filming each other sexually abusing a 1-year-old girl received life prison sentences Thursday.
Stevie Foehl, 28, and her boyfriend, Michael Emory, 26, pleaded guilty to a slew of sex crime charges in January. Cops found videos of the unthinkable sexual assault on Emory’s computer, which they seized while he was being investigated on separate sex abuse charges.
“I don’t know how to quantify the horror this child was put through,” Judge Dennis Lieber said at the sentencing Thursday, in which Emory got three consecutive life sentences, and Foehl received life in prison.
Emory came under investigation in February 2013 after police learned of his alleged sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl. Cops say the offender made contact with the teen through Craigslist, where she offered her services as a baby sitter. Her parents found out and reported it to the police.
Emory and Foehl fled, and police searched their apartment in Alpine Township. There, they found a computer containing the graphic video, which even veteran investigators found difficult to watch.
“To a person, this is the worst, one of the worst [child sex cases] they’ve had to work,” Kent County Undersheriff John Hess told WZZM.
The FBI and local authorities arrested the couple in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in August 2013. They were extradited to Michigan to face the charges against them.

Exceptional people escape poverty, but most people aren’t exceptional and stay in the economic position they are born into. Yes, it is. Any cessation of life that is not from natural causes is homicide a/k/a murder. Some is “justifiable” as in self-defense, others are caused by diminished capacity (drunk driving, reckless or negligent behavior). Vehicular manslaughter is murder, just diminished in culpability.

I’m not in favor of late term abortions. 24 week max. 90% of abortions are done in the first 8 weeks. It’s not like a woman routinely is 6 or 7 months pregnant and decides to abort. That’s done only under the most dire circumstances. now back to your hyperbole I guess?

Being pro-choice is being pro-abortion. That’s a given. The question is why you would support the choice but not an act of abortion itself – what is the reason “you” would not support abortion if you support the choice – what is “wrong with it”? Why should it be “rare”?
Because unlike a tattoo, or a breast removal, etc., the woman is not removing a piece of her own body, she is terminating a seperate life with seperate DNA that (with the exception of rape) she consented to an action that creates it.
Of course its the woman’s choice, but what are the motivating factors for the choice – to say you support choice and then say its because the child is “born to a loser of a woman that can’t afford it”, or “the mother is a piece of shiat and won’t raise it right”, is YOUR opinion on the mother and the child, and you use that to justify the right to choose. So women hear that “well, the kid’s life will just suck anyway” and act upon it.
What could be more sexist, cruel, and tyrannical? If the child is a life, then you have consented to the mother’s decision to kill her child not just out of medical necessity, but as a late form of contraception because that child is “burden” to her. So the person who should defend the child the most, the mother, can’t wait to coat-hanger it, and the rest of society decides to just abandon the child a second time.

The FATHER’s rights in the matter are not even addressed. Provided the sex was consentual, then both parties could reasonably expect a birth to occur. But the father has no veto rights over abortion, even if he can show he can provide for the child after birth.
More to the point, let’s assume that the child is not a life – since both parties had one “bite of the apple” (both chose sex which lead to procreation), then the woman gets a second bite by 1) choosing to abort over the father’s veto OR 2) having the decision to give birth to the kid AND bind the father to raise the child, financially if nothing else, again over his veto. Why can the father say “hey, the fetus is not a person, so she can choose to abort right now, but if SHE DECIDES to give birth, SHE decides to take full responsibility, so don’t come a’knockin’ for child support”. I mean, why are women only allowed to be self-centered?

Not once do you mention the child’s father taking an active role in his child’s care and upbringing. Making it in this world does not mean becoming filthy rich by way of society’s whimsical television or musical tastes at a given point in time. It doesn’t mean becoming President of the United States or even of one’s own companycompany.
Making it can be as simple as holding down a job, doing one’s best to advance in his or her field, providing one’s family with a comfortable level of food, shelter and security so that they may be free to make the best of life themselves. I’m talking about people like the guys I work with. A couple of guys who recently retired at age 60 after putting in 40 years on a job in the transportation industryindustry. Both of these fellows have grown children who have either gone to college or took up trades and are now raising families of their own. Both of the guys happen to be black too! No more education than high school, both from low-income families, both from the sh_tty part of town originally. Both made it their children are making it and their grandchildren ought be okay as well.

Gender is a grammatical term that is misused by the left. Sex is biologically determined and most of the wiring, emotional and spiritual, are determined with it. That you accept the BS of the left is your personal problem, not ours.
Sex is biologically determined in most cases. Gender though is a social script, and the evidence to support that is everywhere. What conservatives can’t Accept is that some people don’t conform to traditional gender roles.
