Feminist Tumblr: Spot the Error

Hint: Collectivism!
“The only proof that I, as a feminist, do not hate men, should be the fact that I don’t kill, rape and beat them. The mere fact that I only rebel against my oppressor with my words, should be enough to show that I have compassion and are not motivated by hatred
“While men kill, rape and beat women, on a systematic, social, economical and cultural level, but people still doubt if they hate us, so much that any rebellion against them must surely be hatred.
“Maybe men are telling us something we don’t know? Maybe we should hate you, and that is why you cannot fathom that our words are not motivated by hatred.”
Another feminist then added:
“Why do men rape, murder, beat us, but never have to say they don’t hate women?”
Men (collectively) do these terrible things to women (collectively) “on a systematic, social, economical and cultural level.” This got more than 16,000 notes in a month on Tumblr. and reminds me of a Pink Floyd song, “Us and Them.”
How is it that collective hatred masquerades as “progressive”? Why is individual responsibility so hard to understand?

Everything they said is 100% true.

“I don’t kill, rape and beat them.”
That all sounds lovely and innocent without context. In fact you don’t do much of anything on a civilizational level, so until you build gothic cathedrals, fill museums with great art and put Hot Wheels on Mars I’d replace the word “don’t” with “can’t.”
Also, in law, there is no such thing as me being an accomplice to assault on a systematic, social, economical and cultural level.” The word you’re looking for is “crime.”
There – all better now? Now you don’t sound so much like a German beer-garden circa 1933.

The feminists are spewing crazy talk as usual, but I will say that the federal government figuratively kills, rapes and beats the citizenry, systematically, on a social, economic and cultural level. That’s certainly a systematic thing. You’d think maybe Team Tumblr would show a little interest in that sometimes, but with these chicks it’s always just me, me, me. Then again, when you’re crazy, maybe me, me, me is the expected mindset.

Look. If you’re going to be a troll, then you need to learn a couple of things. First, you need to make your Disqus profile private, since otherwise people will see that you’re a man-hating, rape-denying, slut-shaming SJW nutjob. Then you have to stop upvoting your own comments, since that’s a huge tell. And then you have to stop posting, since having a private profile is a huge tell.

Not in a court of law it isn’t.
That’s why “Everything they said is 100% true” was followed by changing laws in Nazi Germany to fix that.
Capiche?

Because once Christ taught us love for the individual, the only way left to go was backward.
Because then they would have to take it.
I think you already knew all that, but one of my favorite hobbies is providing good answers to rhetorical questions. I couldn’t resist.

“Why do men rape, murder, beat us, but never have to say they don’t hate women?”
The tiny minority of men who do in fact “kill, rape and beat women” are generally considered by society to be motivated by a hatred of women.

Fine. Judge others by the same kind of standard you reserve for yourself i.e. one that makes an assessment based on individual conduct.
Which men? How is this not an example of the fallacy of composition?

Also, did she not just concede that it is possible for women to rape men?

My wife hates when I answer her rhetorical questions. I just tell her it was a rhetorical answer. 😉

The poor dears just go on and on trying to prove a negative proposition.
Also, ‘I haven’t murdered any men yet,’ hardly has the same meaning as, ‘I don’t hate men.’ I mean, I’m kinda glad that nutsy hasn’t gone on a man murdering, raping and beating rampage. Shrill and bossy is no way to go through life. The best avatar for this sick chick is a screaming goat. Over 16,000 notes and they all sound like, “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!111!”
I had a rock tumbler when I was a kid. You could put ugly crap in there and (some of) it would come out beautiful. Feminist Tumblr is just like that except that the ugly crap that goes in comes out an even more shocking, hate-filled mess. So…thanks?

Quite well put.

Oddly enough, though I have never raped, beaten or killed a woman, ever, in 62 years of life, I’m still guilty, guilty, guilty!
June 26th, 2015 @ 9:43 am
The tiny minority of men who do in fact “kill, rape and beat women” are generally arrested, convicted and locked up in prison.

“And in the end, it’s only round and round, and round.”

I urge her to replace the word men with blacks and see how that goes over.
