#FreeStacy Won’t Shut Up

The difference between Anita Sarkeesian (@femfreq on Twitter) and myself can be summarized, as Da Tech Guy points out, in a single paragraph from Debra Saunders’ column:

I reached out to Sarkeesian: no response. I reached out to a woman who tweeted that McCain harassed her friend: no reply. McCain would talk. He noted that of the 40 organizations on the Twitter Council, many are left-leaning and none is conservative or libertarian. The Twitter Council is an echo chamber. “There are some people who just can’t stand the idea that someone could have access to Twitter or anything, or a platform to be able to criticize them,” McCain told me. They don’t believe in freedom of expression for others. Free speech is not safe. And Jack Dorsey has made them Twitter’s bouncers.

Damn right. Anita Sarkeesian is a selfish liar who falsely accuses her critics of wanting to “silence” her and other feminists:

What happened to me, and sadly other women as well, can best be described as a cyber mob.
And whether it’s a cyber mob or just a handful of hateful comments, the end result is maintaining and reinforcing and normalizing a culture of sexism — where men who harass are supported by their peers and rewarded for their sexist attitudes and behaviors and where women are silenced, marginalized and excluded from full participation.

Well, who is silencing whom, Ms. Sarkeesian? Who is being “excluded”? Not you, but rather your critics, who are never permitted to reply directly to your dishonest accusations about a “culture of sexism.”

Anita Sarkeesian has never engaged in a dialogue with anyone who disagrees with her dangerous ideology, and why? Because feminism is always a lecture, never a debate. Radical feminists like Anita Sarkeesian crave absolute power, including the power to silence others.

As I wrote in an email to my buddy Bert the Samoan Lawyer yesterday:

Remember: Feminism Is a Totalitarian Movement to Destroy Civilization as We Know It. And also elect Hillary Clinton, but I repeat myself.

What does anyone need to fear from me? Only the possibility that I might state some facts they do not want others to know.

Anita Sarkeesian is an ally of extremist hatemonger Melissa Fabello, managing editor of the anti-male/anti-heterosexual website Everyday Feminism dedicated to promoting an “LGBTQIA+” agenda.

Has anyone asked Anita Sarkeesian why she would associate with a deranged fanatic who uses her Twitter account to publish obscene screeds against white heterosexual men?

If you want to ask Anita Sarkeesian a question about that on Twitter, you will be blocked and perhaps accused of harassment — “participating in targeted abuse” — because The First Rule of Feminism is “SHUT UP!”

“Denying or dismissing the sexism that permeates our culture is, in and of itself, a form of sexism.”
— Anita Sarkeesian, July 17, 2013

This is the perfect example of “Kafkatrapping”: Accuse someone of wrongdoing and, when they deny the accusation, assert that their denial is proof of their guilt. Sarkeesian’s claim that “sexism . . . permeates our culture” merely restates what was said more than 40 years earlier by Shulamith Firestone’s radical feminist collective Redstockings, and what university Women’s Studies professors teach young people to believe.

“Women are an oppressed class. . . .
“We identify the agents of our oppression as men. . . . All men have oppressed women.”

— Redstockings, 1969

“Feminist consciousness is consciousness of victimization . . . to come to see oneself as a victim.”
— Sandra Lee Bartky, Femininity and Domination: Studies in the Phenomenology of Oppression (1990)

“Since sex is something men do to women . . . men dominate and control women. . . .
“In other words, heterosexuality is the foundation of the social structure of male dominance, and successfully attacking it could bring down the whole house. . . .
“The need for a unified feminist theory of sexuality is clear. If one concludes, as many feminists have, that heterosexuality is the primary and most powerful mechanism of social control, then understanding its meaning in all forms is imperative if male dominance is ever to be overcome.”

— S.P. Schacht and Patricia H. Atchison, “Heterosexual Instrumentalism: Past and Future Directions,” in Heterosexuality: A Feminism and Psychology Reader, edited by Sue Wilkinson and Celia Kitzinger (1993)

“There are politics in sexual relationships because they occur in the context of a society that assigns power based on gender and other systems of inequality and privilege. . . . [T]he interconnections of systems are reflected in the concept of heteropatriarchy, the dominance associated with a gender binary system that presumes heterosexuality as a social norm. . . .
“As many feminists have pointed out, heterosexuality is organized in such a way that the power men have in society gets carried into relationships and can encourage women’s subservience, sexually and emotionally.”

— Susan M. Shaw and Janet Lee, Women’s Voices, Feminist Visions (fifth edition, 2012)

Feminists assert that all women are oppressed by all men. This means that no matter how privileged a woman may be, “feminist consciousness” requires her to think of herself as a victim. Because feminists condemn heterosexuality as the “mechanism” by which “men dominate and control women,” then the “power men have in society” (i.e., “male supremacy”) means that men’s normal sexual interest in women is inherently oppressive (i.e., “sexist”) within a system of “heteropatriarchy” that requires “women’s subservience, sexually and emotionally.”

This kind of “unified feminist theory” is taught in Women’s Studies programs on hundreds of campuses — the popular textbook Women’s Voices, Feminist Visions is edited by two professors at Oregon State University — which is why Feminism Is Queer, to quote the title of a textbook by Eastern Washington University Professor Mimi Marinucci.

This explains why Everyday Feminism editor Melissa Fabello rejects heterosexuality as a “charade,” calling herself “queer,” an identity she says she chose after previously calling herself “homoflexible. And before that, a lesbian. And even before that, bisexual.” Ms. Fabello can rant at length about her dislike of heterosexuality and her contempt for males, none of whom know anything about “a woman’s sexual pleasure” and never bother to ask, so that she prefers masturbating when she isn’t having “lesbian relationships . . . with ‘straight curious’ girls.”

You think maybe Ms. Fabello hates men and wants them to shut up?

Melissa Fabello “got to talk media and feminism . . . over dinner” with Anita Sarkeesian on Feb. 19 — the same day Twitter shut down my account, and this could be just a coincidence. Sure, I’ve been mocking Ms. Fabello’s site Everyday Feminism here on a regular basis for months (e.g., “The Queering of Feminism” and “Your Heterosexual Feminism Is Wrong”), and sure, Anita Sarkeesian is buddy-buddy with Twitter “Trust and Safety” Commissar Del Harvey, but it would be ludicrous — perhaps even paranoid — to think that Melissa Fabello, Anita Sarkeesian and Del Harvey might all agree that my popular @rsmccain account should be “silenced, marginalized and excluded” from Twitter.

Oh, I was born at night, ma’am, but it sure wasn’t last night. It’s not “paranoia” if people actually are out to get you, and when we realize that (a) this is an election year where Democrats expect to leverage the Feminist™ brand to elect Hillary Clinton president, and (b) wealthy Twitter executives are hosting fundraisers for Hillary Clinton, a persistent critic of feminism would have to be crazy not to be paranoid.

Not as if Hillary Clinton would have a guy arrested for making a YouTube video in an effort to cover up her own bungling in Benghazi, right?

  1. “What does anyone need to fear from me? Only the possibility that I might state some facts they do not want others to know.”

Feminist D-day is looming. The biggest roll out of feminist ideology, especially in early education, is imminent. The hook has been known for some time: rape.

“feminist views and ideologies are necessary to enact a change across the country” -Jessica Valenti

    https://twitter.com/DateOffCampus/status/703682692408340480

This is a massive coordination effort and feminists are determined to not allow anyone to derail the assault. They are prepared to explain away the numerous gaping holes in their data, views and ideologies should they be questioned. That is, feminists must be the only ones to control and temper the narrative. An anti feminist going public with damaging facts will not be tolerated.

  2. Any parent who is not homeschooling yet …

Well, finish that sentence as you wish. My opinions on the subject might offend even my regular readers, who are not easily offended.

  3. I love that most of the liberals in my FB social media and other media trends (some on old BBS and Forum Boards) are talking about how awesome this is. Without fully realizing how much like Trotsky or even Robespierre they are. One wonders what will happen when the T&S cult goes after the liberals that don’t toe the line? Like the Rep from Hawaii that was the Vice Chair of the DNC and said that she won’t support a rape apologist and loves to be Bern’d.

  4. I’m just an old Fat lady who lives in NC and I have all sort of deranged headcases following me around the WWW creating web pages about me because of my conservative Christian opinions are so threatening to them…

A photobucket account with stolen photos of me from my voice teacher’s Facebook page (where the photos are very clearly marked copyrighted) and my church’s web page https://archive.is/isiaD

Not to mention the junk mail from HRC and 100’s of crank phone calls.

Of course I’m a nobody so I couldn’t get anyone to help me with the horrific harassment I have received for standing up for Christian principles.

Yep progressives are fascists monsters, no matter if they are homosexual, or feminists activists. It really is about shutuppery and public demonization for anyone who disagrees with their hateful insanity!

  5. I’m not a doctor, but I suspect she’s lacking the good old Vitamin D, and not the one usually found in milk IYKWIMAITTYD.

  6. Why is it when leftists pull this kind of authoritarian crap they always get away with it? Not only that but make tons of money doing it? Conservatives lose their jobs, homes, sometimes mates and children over stuff like this. Conservatives will never inhabit any cultural institutions of influence. It boggles the mind. I for the life of me can’t figure why the left is so much better at social manipulation than the right and how they always manage to lock us out, shut us up or marginalize us. Every time! Not only that but they always manage plausible deniability when wrongdoing!

Hillary Clinton is a prime example. She has just enough plausible deniability to remain above her scandals and Obama is the exact same way. The IRS scandal, Benghazi.. All of it just enough plausible deniability.. How? Everywhere I look I see leftists with plenty of cover and deniability while conservatives are always out on a limb. Why?

  7. That or there is someone with an agenda and only wants the power before the others realize what has happened.

  8. Why Feminism? Why Now?

    4. Cargo cult of masculinity
    5. Uggo access to society
    6. Bitches be cray-cray
    7. Scapegoat excuse for failure at career
    8. Scapegoat excuse for failure at hetero
    9. Scapegoat excuse for failure at life
    10. Hate feels powerful, better than fear
    11. Manichean simplicity relieves anxiety
    12. Statists need women against men
    13. Eugenicists need women against babies

    And more. Too many reasons.

  9. I sit in stunning amazement of how lacking in brains these women are. As I have said many times: they in effect constitute their own explanation as a culture of endemic failure, not that of men or “toxic masculinity” or male sexism. If I were to truly believe their rhetoric, what I would see is a pre-Enlightenment cult which doesn’t believe in free speech, due process or equal protection propped up by a male Constitution which these women not only don’t believe in but can’t grasp.

Both Fabello and Sarkeesian are monkeys staring at the night sky and wondering what those lights are. If one were to extrapolate this feminist culture into a future America which they control it would resemble Orwell’s 1984. The difference would be the military would be so undermined that would quickly transition into a continent that might look like that of Phillip K. Dick’s The Man in the High Castle, where one half belongs to Asia and the other to whatever empire rises on the other side of the Atlantic which has no gender studies classes. That being the case, the first thing they would do would be to put rabble-rousers like Fabello and Sarkeesian in slave pens.

Like any suicide cult which works in such a roundabout way, the more successful they are the closer they come to their own demise. The question is how many Dresdens will be firebombed along with them and our Constitution.

  10. “… Jack Dorsey has made them Twitter’s bouncers.”

Snaps to Ms. Saunders. Text bite extraordinaire.

  11. They will not be able to explain away the numerous gaps in their data. They’re women. They’re not good at math.

But I’m a woman and I’m good at math, so how’s that? I’m over myself, that’s how. Feminists are not.

  12. I’ve said it over and over. No excuse for not homeschooling. You can go to homeschool exchanges and pick up curriculum (including Creationist science curriculum) for pennies on the dollar. You can work full time, as I did, and still homeschool, because homeschool is when you say it is. Not sure about other states, but in FL, your kids can still be in clubs, sports, band, etc., at the local school, as mine were.

Yes, it was work. Yes, it was WELL worth it. Just do it!

  13. This is all a load of cr4p. But at least I blocked the FreezePeach impersonator. Wow. What a loser that person is. Don’t any of these fools have a life of their own, that they have to stalk you? Doesn’t seem like it.

  14. We have done some good work. I can list all the great monumental works women have ever done in far less than 140 characters: zero.

Take away those good works and Miss Thing is being banged by some Ottoman behind a shed she didn’t build between sessions of churning butter like a proper bashful maid. That’s before she creates some alcohol for that man-o-hers by brewing it in her mouth Inca-style. Then she is ignored until the banging and the butter cycle starts again.

    Great civilization.

  15. Conservatives will never inhabit any cultural institutions of influence.

Actually, they inhabit the main one. Traditional families. Which is why leftists are so desperate to destroy them.

  16. ?my .friend’s mate Is getting 98$. HOURLY. on the internet.”….two days ago new McLaren. 17. As Wm F Buckley, Jr, famously said, “Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”

The difference between The Other McCain and Twitter? You are paying for your website, and no one, other than your web hosting service, has the authority to shut it down, something the service won’t do as long as you are paying your bill. Twitter, on the other hand, is free, and there is no particular reason, and no legal contract, which prevents them from shutting down a particular tweep. The left discovered this, sort of as a corollary to the silencing technique of not debating, but simply claiming that you are a racist or sexist or homophobe — and I am happy to report that WordPress is notifying me that ‘homophobe’ isn’t a real word — or whatever ‘ist’ is being criticized today. If you can’t be out-argued, you must simply be shut down!

  18. Nevertheless, the current wave of feminists carry with themselves the seeds — or lack thereof, really — of their own destruction. Our host and his lovely wife have blessed the world with six new McCains, whilst Misses Fabello and Mogilevsky and Sarkeesian have all eschewed the activity which would allow them to continue their propaganda line. By the time that the young feminists discover that they are not immortal, the time in which they can continue their line has expired. As an old professor at the University of Kentucky used to put it, tempus is fugiting.

The problem for the current wave of feminists is that they are fighting reality: anyone who claims that heterosexuality is simply a patriarchal construct — a White Christianist Cisheteronormative Patriarchist® construct to boot! — is arguing against the continuation of the species, is arguing against the continuation of every multicellular species. Even the famously heterosexual Amanda Marcotte, with her infamous proclamation that children are smelly things to be avoided, heading for her 39th birthday, has, at the very least, pushed off reproduction to beyond the point where changing her mind still leaves her with a greater-than-average chance of a child with a birth defect, and has, most probably consigned herself to a life in which she won’t have to worry about her children putting her in a nursing home, but will have to go there herself, without even the option of living out her last years with one of her children.

Their entire premise is based on a lie.

  19. Insane isn’t it and yet these progressives claim they are the victims of my hate (i.e. disagreeing with them)
They will also claim that my post about them is evidence of my”harassing” and “stalking” behavior.

  20. Perhaps the feminists might see the falsity of their own positions by referring to that one word they see as an absolute good: diversity. Multicellular creatures reproduce sexually because the genetic diversity created by sexual reproduction creates a stronger and more resilient species. A multicellular species can only prosper if its DNA contains some diversity, and that necessitates a method of transmitting DNA from one member of the species to another, in order to create an offspring with DNA which is a combination of that of the two parents. The only known method of doing this is by having some species members being male, and some being female.

  21. “… that don’t toe the line?”
    .
Kudos for getting that right … one so often sees it as “tow the line” that for a minute it confused me!

  22. The way I look at it, she’s just some lady, and you’re just some guy (though I really like your blog). And you’re having an argument on social media–and a dying one, Twitter. Happens all the time, among millions of people.

  23. I would say that a harem of angry penguins with yard sticks beat it out of me to get idoms like that right. Just to get a laugh. However, the truth was I had a middle school teacher who was a foreign national that was nationalized as an American who flunked a number of us for using those idoms in the wrong way and it made for a hard year in English class when the failure rate of 30 students was in the 60% range because of poor analogy, idom usage and purple prose issues.

  24. ““In other words, heterosexuality is the foundation of the social structure of male dominance, and successfully attacking it could bring down the whole house. . . .”

In fairness, they are exactly right on that last part. Ending heterosexuality WILL bring down the whole house. Distressingly quickly.

  25. “Feminist rejects heterosexuality as a charade, calling herself queer.” Gosh, and here I’ve been thinking heterosexuality is the de facto methodology for procreation of our species since the beginning of recorded time. Sure is a good thing we’ve got psychologically unhinged and ethically unmoored psychotics to femsplain why we’re wrong. Oh wait. They don’t explain; they block and lecture. Because Thought Police. Orwell weeps.

  26. I for the life of me can’t figure why the left is so much better at social manipulation than the right….

Because they have rejected all Morality, so they are free to ‘Do What Thou Wilt’, as it were.

  27. …I avoid women that start a sentence with ” men don’t care”… Run away as fast as you can, if you hear any similar phrases!

  28. How dare you express individualism and screw up their arguments that women are universally excluded from STEM fields because patriarchy!

  29. It’s become rather obvious, that the Left views this as a war of attrition. It believes it can outlast dissenting voices and that pulling the plug on dissent will make dissent magically disappear. Obviously that’s not the case as the internet, so long as it remains free from government interference (major caveat), will always rise to provide alternative venues for people who wish to speak.

The interesting thing is that the SWJs will be the victims of their own overreach because of that. Stock prices will plummet, good “socially acceptable” initiatives and control notwithstanding. Progressive ideas are nice, in theory, provided they can be monetized. Consider Chipotle Grill as an example. Sure, all that “locavore” stuff made everybody feel all warm and fuzzy–until what they were feeling was salmonella.

Ditto with this social media business. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, we’re not at the beginning of the end yet, but we’re perhaps witnessing the end of the beginning.

  30. Two feral man-hating racists in the same selfie. How’d that ever happen? I guess if McCain had Tweeted how sick he was of black women to himself he’d still be okay.
