‘Destructive’! ‘Capricious’! ‘Irresponsible!’

No, Charles Krauthammer was not talking about Meghan McCain’s Dirty Sexy Politics:

Thanks to The Right Scoop for the video. Note that Krauthammer states as a fact that Christine O’Donnell will lose the general election. But why, then, did Krauthammer support John McCain, who lost so disastrously in 2008?

Krauthammer’s certainty that Mike Castle would be a “shoo-in” is equally questionable. If a Tea Party Express ad buy totalling something like $200,000 can put Castle in jeopardy of losing the GOP primary, exactly why should we believe that he is an invincible electoral juggernaut for November?

If O’Donnell pulls off a miracle upset Tuesday, it would be a continuation of the same pattern we’ve seen with Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, Sue Lowden, Jane Norton and Lisa Murkowski: John Cornyn, the NRSC and the entire national Republican establishment lining up to tell us that their hand-picked pets are surefire winners — and yet they couldn’t even win their own primaries against underfunded challengers!

BTW, I’m hoping to rent a car and drive to Delaware to blog Tuesday’s results. Please hit the tip jar.

    Hmmmmm, this is good.

I wanted Simmons to face Blumenthal in Conn. But Simmons lost to WWW McMahon. Simmons was a veteran who could have stuffed Blumenthal’s lies down his throat. Still, Simmons was gracious and gave his support to McMahon.

    Now she is within six.

    There is a lesson here.

The simple problem with RINOs is that they vote like Copperheads, but the numbers say the “Republicans” are in charge. If we can’t get real conservatives, I want Brand Copperhead owning the inevitable crash.

Look, if O’Donnell isn’t a kook, she’s the better candidate.

Trouble is, she may well be a kook.

But now we’re learning that Castle may not just be a moderate, but a liberal.

This is a problem — the kook or the liberal.

Won’t condemn people for breaking either way on this one.

On the other hand, the Dems elect tonnes of kooks. Why shouldn’t we get one or two — O’Donnell was even with the Dem before the primary got heated last month… Isn’t impossible she could surf the wave in, this year…

She is a really hot kook, I’ll give you that.

Better image for the party than Castle, it’s true.

What the hell, let’s do it.

I think a lot of conventional political wisdom is not going to apply this year.

I think nearly everyone I speak with wants new blood.

It would not surprise me if NO Incumbents WIN in November.

If the Republican Party does not change with the times and RESPECT the Candidate who has been elected – not – selected and provide full party support.
